I was just reading another post and they were saying at least with the Viet's they did things together bla bla bla unlike turks etc.
I wasnt around when there country was IP banned from Isro, what happend and what was JM reason? also did they get there own SRO or are they sro-less...?

Because Viet SRO came out...

So there was no need for them to be in iSRO.

hm people say that they were just like turks now... with so many complains about viets joymax made Vsro just for them and banned them from isro.

And i guess it also was because they started to take over the server and people complained.
Also, some people specualte that it was because they were the "turks" of sro.

I remember all the big dramas with viets getting banned, those were fun times. lilasianboyz endless globals.. good times.

Now if memory server me correctly isn't it because jsro (or vsro?) was released? Due to them having a specific version made for them they were no longer welcome on isro. At least thats how i think it happened..

and when their sro came out did they transfer their acc

No. They got IP banned so they could not access anything on iSRO and they did not transfer their accounts.

a lot of them were ccf'ers and joymax posted a few times that they were going to kick them out.

viets owned sro tho.
they were the gods of pvp. no matter what build or lvl u were.
i cnt remember them as botters tho...
a lot spoke english in the end, it wasnt that bad.
they just owned the servers.

They were nothing like the turks we have now.

When the viets got ip banned, they didn't get "pwned." We were the ones that got pwned. First of all, they got a 10x xp and sp event on vSRO to compensate for their ban, and second of all, with them went all the competition for a good 4 or 5 months on Troy.

I have trouble believing people were racist against the viets, when I first started my best friend in sro was a viet and she gave me her account when vsro came out....it was pure int archer

LMAO how hard for you guys to read whole thing? as i post in there they got IP banned coz all other SR got run by companies in their Countries. So JM banned em . and since SRO kinda popular therefore, they will get alot $ if that run within a Country.
PS: the companies buy the right to run SRO version in their Countries.

It was probably a condition of the licensing agreement, in order to secure an instant userbase for vSRO.

Um, have fun with that. As mentioned above, they were known for ccf'ing, as many of the players on Troy are now. Yes, even your so called "non-scamming, non-ccf'ing" union.

Not exactly.
Most were people not from Vietnam pretending to be vietnamese and open about CCF'ing to make them look worse. Similar to the turk situation now. The vietnamese were respectable in this game. Most people just couldn't handle not being in power so they did everything they could.

This is the only thing that has come close to making sense in this thread of why they got blocked. Stop bringing up the racist issue, it's as small and meaningless, JM's don't care about kids fighting in the sandbox.

there used to be alot of vietnamese people in redsea (after the block) now after the euro thing they just went away i miss them now i gotta deal with the turks and these BR people that call me potatos

They did block all Viet IPs, they also mentioned this was the last time they would restrict a certain country/region from logging on iSRO. So don't get your hopes up about the Turks getting blocked

well my impression was becasue of the Large amount of CCF that came from veitnam was the reason why there IP's were banned.

Yes United States And The Viets were the top 2 Countries in CCF in silkroad

When I compare them to turks, I mean to say; people bitched about them. Just like people bitch about turks now. At least that's what I was told.

Last: Viets battled the same way other Asian countries battle, as one. I was told the Vietnamese were very nice people but people still QQed.
