So i followed the guide on how to run Silkroad on Ubuntu, and it worked but the graphics are kinda weird =P

I guess you followed my guide
If you wanna fix that then make sure:
-You update graphics drivers.
-Make sure wine is running in windows 98 mode.
-Try putting it on full resolution and switching between high and low graphics settings.
Otherwise quite wierd and something i haven't seen before.

I personally use Xubuntu ... Ubuntu is too bloated....
but anyways ... i just emulate xp in my xubuntu ... gets rid of the head aches of wine
i can give you a link to a free downloadable copy of xp to emulate in your buntu
