Firstly, im selling my 72+9 when im done with it.....being the only 72+9 sword on the server....i kinda wish i sold it before 90 cap...how much is it worth now? And will 8d prices likely go up in price once everything has cooled down a bit. I mean, i dont recall 7d being so cheap when 8d was the cap.....so why has 8d taken such a pathetic drop in prices?....is it literally cus 9d is brand new and everyone is selling there 8d, rendering the prices less? i hope 8d goes back up to maybe 75-100m per item for sox stuff and stuff like my +...which is full blue and 94% mag "not sun".

72+9 sold for 50m in my server its simply not really needed because 76+x is better

50m is way to low ofcource.
i sold my bow for 85m which was a 64+9.
bought my 72+7's for 55 and 60m.
72+9's still do go for 100-200m though swords are kinda cheap
last sun sword on troy i saw sold for 400m ^^

and i honestly have no idea if prices will be going up again later ... O.o

Just use your brain why would you pay 50+ mil for 72+9 when you can use it only till 76 cuz 76+5 is better and far cheaper.
You should think of that much longer before update. All knew that update is gona happend sooner or later and nobody didnt sell any of their weapon until teaser opened and thats the time prices start droping.

coz you pay more for a lvl 1 sun+9 then for a lvl 42 npc wep? ^^

well, seems ill be keeing my 72+9 for myself then. 50m isnt even slightly tempting enough imo....

I can't sell my 72+7 (80% phy atk.) glavie for 50 mil....i'm not going to drop the price below 50mil EVER,,,i rather keep it then basically just "giving" it alway under 50mil

I kept my sun blade because I wanted to be able to use it as a toy in the future. I'm so happy I did because 2 weeks after cap raise I bought a sun shield for 200m.

I think its possible that prices could go up a little. but not for at least another 6 months; maybe more.

The reason is that some people like to collect sun and +9 weapons and if most of it gets bought now and those buyers decide to keep it forever or quit with the items still on the account, there won't be much left to buy. Thus the few remaining people that are active and hold the gear can sell it to their bidder at whatever cost they deem fair.

Sure demand has for 8D has dropped a lot and it will never go back to 600m+ value again, but those that decide to sell their rare* stuff for 200m or less I think are just getting ripped off.

If the game wasn't 99% botters then these items would still have a lot more worth. Unfortunately not many people need a powerhouse 8D sun to level since they know they will ditch the weapon in a matter of days for a new one.



Rarity of an item varies server to server and if there is too much of a "rare item" it's no longer rare. I don't know how many +9s there are on your server but on Alex, there aren't many.

Just wait until the 100cap comes, and you'll watch 9d prices drop through the shitter too. The problem is just that, a huge amount of players cap these days, and +5 is no longer "special." People just want +7. Market gets overflooded with the "old" and yet really nice gear, that hits the market at a new cap, with only a few people actually needing it. +5 3rd tier pieces sell around 10m on Troy, +5 72 weapons for as low as 15~20m, and +7 72 weapons around 50m. I doubt the prices will ever go up either. More and more people are going to cap and get their final sets dumping yet more 8d pimped gear onto the market, and that shit will be around all cap stalling anyways .

The choice with new caps is usually fairly simple to make; either dump your set before the new cap comes, hauling in the big bucks; or keep it so your leveling is easier towards the new cap. [Generally keeping your old set does better as you can sell all of your drops for big bucks and waste your alchemy drops on them as well rather then trying to piece your own set together.]

tl;dr Nice 8d 3rd tier sets are waaaay cheaper to buy then make yourself. Same is gonna happen with 9d once 100 cap hits.
