I'm pure str fire blader lvl 85. I know most pure str wear garments But I was thinking about switching to protector cause I don't have a lot of gold and it's so much cheaper than garment. Do you think I would struggle against pure ints or hybrid ints in pvp if I switched?

EDIT: I could also switch to armor and come a Great phy tanker like a euro warrior but then I would be slow witch doesn't bother me to bad. Just tell me what you all think about this please and thanks.

All depends on your opponent, many people I know carry 2 sets of armor, one for nukers, other for tankers.

But since you don't have the gold (You and me both, just starting) go protector, best of both worlds.

=O i could never afford 2 sets of pimped 9d armor. i'd take protector over 2 sets of armor. equal balance.

So you think protector? Come on I need some more opinions please.

I'm lvl72 hybrid str blader... i use pimped 8D protector atm, and i dont plan on switching anytime soon


phys def of armor is strikingly the same to phys def of protector if you really look at it, but it is the mag def of the protector that outshines the armor

If u have ice 90 -> good extra phy def
If u have light 90 -> extra parry/mag damage
eitherway I'd say, stay garment.

If u have force 90, you might concider protector & snow shield

If u don't have force, stay with garment; even though it's pretty expensive atm.
(hybrid) int will kill u easy with pro (bleed or division and 2 nukes later u are dead with protector)

my light is only at lvl 61 and cold is 30. I'm only gonna max blade skills and fire I'll only lvl light to 72 max cause I only use it for the phantom and grass walk. So you think I should stay garment so I don't get raped by int/hybrid ints?

since you're low on gold, switching to prots ain't all that bad since you have a sheild. afaik, a glaiver in prots has around the same phy def as a blader in garms.

from experience, when i wore prots(glaiver), i had a bit of trouble agaisnt s/s int chars. but seeing as u have the sheild, u can fight decently against s/s ints.

imho you can switch to prots (wouldnt be so bad, and ALOT cheaper), BUT eventually switch back to garms when prices go down (if they ever do )

when it comes to gold you can always do taxi & other stuff

it's all about the build

fire 90 bicheon 90 light 90 cold 30 (protector) to compensate the physical defense you lost

fire 90 bicheon 90 light 60 cold 60 (garment)
