OK, i have tried to start silkroad over again, gonna make a chinese nuker. but there is a problem, on all chars i have and make there is some sort of delay, when i click a skill it takes 1-2seconds before the char even start to move to the selected mob and kick it¨'s ass. this is VERY annoying, same goes for changing weapons and general walking, i have a minimum amount of process running, and it's not the comp, cuz i can play WoW without this delay. I have tried reinstall about 3-4 times and nothing happens,

what can cause the delay, and is there any way of fixing it?

And am i the only one with this delay??

At my other apartment I have 256 dw and 128 upload and never ever got dc or any lags, and now at home I have download 768 and upload 256 and I have laags. Your speed is more than enough but maybe is something like mine and you have that delays.

then your comp sucks.. xD try loging in the sro site and log out or something just a guess hope it works

it is not about net speed, you can play on dial up just dont go in hotan. it is all about ping. the higher the ping to the server the more lag you have.

as a side note. ping is the time it take the info to get from your compute to the server.

stay out of bot areas,, (same as dont play sro xD lol)

i get also very laggy at dw flowers,, due to all the botters there,, thing ping is higher in that area?

never have problems if i grind in ´´quiet´´ areas

well, in 'bot' areas i never got lag, but when i play csro i got that delay shit..

so i dont think that the problem is with that bot areas?

The ping time would not change because of that. A ping is just a small packet of data exchanged between you and the server. What would change is the amount of data needed to represent your area. So if it takes say 5 packets to show one person running around at the dark wolfs it would take some thing like 50 to show all 10 people at the flowers. This is just a simple example I'm sure joymax has something to cut the traffic down but basically more people on your screen = more data needed by your client.

But the time i got this was after i took a break from SRO, shortly after the euro release, i think the break lasted about 2-3months then played for about 2days, then quit again because of the delay that i had, we have not changed internett service at all, but before and during euro realse everything was as normal, when i clicked a button it took maybe 0.1-0.2sec before my char reacted, but now it's hard times, so i think i will just quit SRO for good, unless this fix itself.
