whats there to explain? your pet is in storage and your trying to activate it...?

I think the problem is that he can't take out his summoned pet from his storage, and the game gives that message everytime he tries to. If I got that right, it's obviously a bug and you're screwed.

If that is the problem, relog and see if it still persists.

He didn't give any information, so why not start at the basics?

It says "Summon item can not be stored at storage because the pet is summoned"

So i guess he is trying to put it in the storage while it is summoned (active).

Not if hes trying to activate it in the storage -.-
for me this is a bit stupid, to just hide a part of the things. Like when he wrote something before the gold bot wrote instead of hiding his name or the whole chat screen O.o just seem a bit wierd to me.

i think its activated in storage and he wanna take it into his inventory and cant^^

Well, in the end he can always wait til the rental period is over and pick it out.
