My best friend is coming back to SRO, since he has found time to play it.

I'm thinking of rerolling a new character and play along side him as he rerolls a new one as well. (He was lvl19 before he left)

I'm doing this because it would be more fun for him, rather than grinding alone in Pacific (Bot Land) So, should I try a chinese or euro? And if so what build?

I am already running:
Hybrid STR Blader --> Lvl72 (active)
Wiz/Cleric --> Farming (70k so far)
Pure INT Nuker --> Lvl25 (inactive)


What's a fun build? Maybe xbow if euro? Thoughts?



Also, should we play our new chars on Venus or a new server, or stick w/ pacific? I'm not leaving pacific, I have characters still active; but maybe should I try a different experience by trying another server?

Well ... for you guys the best combo would be
Wizard/Cleric & Warrior/Cleric ... I was able to grind with friend on 10 lv. mobs above us.

Start on Venus.

me2 lol.. I dont really like euro but i can thinking of doing a rogue/bard or a warlock/cleric

Sweet! Now we have a 4 man party pretty much made.

Either Warrior/Cleric and Wiz/Cleric like nitro said, or you can go Warrior/Cleric and Wiz/Bard

The advantage to Warrior/Cleric and Wiz/Bard is that you do not have to watch out for the wizard as much (noise), move faster, and the wiz (low hp) is not aggroing with all the heals. Not to mention he can regen mp if needed.

Regardless, either one will work fine, but my idea of the Wiz/Bard won't reach its potential until 20 when bards get noise.

Yeah that's cool, although we might start maybe not today but for sure this week, since he's now working on getting a stable internet connection. He's at work right now though.

And yeah, just a heads up, I might try Venus just for kicks. Experience what everyone's been talkin about here. Ive never tried any server except Pacific.

Pacific FTW, but for my friend's sake, I'll try Venus this week.

Just a note ... its impossible to grind like that at mobs 10 lvls higher than you ... Warrior needs to hold his buffs onto Wizard ... Wizard needs to switch to Cleric rod everytime to recast Healing Cycle on Tank ... so =/

Find a group of low level euros fighting stuff 10 levels above them.

I hit level 10

you can go like 5 hours in taka on pacific without seeing your text screen move lol..
