Okay so let say i has 2 shields:
1. My lv.16 sun with br 21
2. This lv.85 shield i working on to +5 ( or even take one shot at +7 since it has imm) and get the br to 18....

So i usually use a shield when i get kd, stunned(not so much), we. w.e, and i know that obviously the lv.85 shield would benefit me more and reduce damage by quite a bit, but im wondering is does the lv on a shield have a factor on the chance to block. If both sheild were to have the same br, would the % to block be the same or would teh 85 have an advantage?

Well the damage your low level shield would block, would probably be equal to the damage reduced by the 85 shield.

So - use the 85 shield.

the 85 is better its only 3% more blocks you know

i think the defence power of the lv 85 shield would be more usefull than the br 21 from the lv 16 shield..

the extra 3 BR is not worth the low defence imo

br is everything!

appart from when its defence is shitty...
just buy a npc one and try to put a high br on it (thats if u didnt hav a 85 which u do)

the defence from npc is .... o..k... and a br of 17+ would be awshum

Im quite sure the level of the shield doesnt effect the chance of blocking, just the BR does. Got a few high lvl people running around with 1-4deg shields on alps, I can only assume they have a high BR.

Heck... the extra low defense doesn't even matter if you can block every other hit.

i dun think BR takes into accnt the lvl of the shield

No, lvl of the shield doesn't change the chance of blocking. I had a lvl 16 npc shield and blocked the Daredevil (2 hit) skill from a warrior with 2 blocks. o.O
