Hey guys.. I am about to get back into playing and I was wondering.. which server to jump in on. I am a veteran of the old Aegae and Oasis (don't really want to go back to Oasis). I want to know which server you are on and why it is the best.. basically a reason to brag about your server and tell how amazing it is...

Venus... it is the best. Nuff said.

It really depends what you are looking for myself I want a server with low traffic. Posiden does it for me and since I don't trust anyone I meet in sro in the slightest only my firneds that played other games with me before sro.

If you don't mind Avalon and like people Venus is good from what I've seen if you dislike Avalon or EA as I think of them anywhere but babel:P

I would never agree with anything that says venus because ive personally gone to venus to see if its all its cracked up to be its dead barely anybody pvping and u cant find a pt to save ur life

You obviously did not look hard enough. There are no need for flames if there is nothing to be argued about.

Well there is always pvp as Sam south, Mostly massive pvp. BHA/Avalon party's Vs bot party's. it's hella fun.
The fact that bots are getting owned by legits makes Venus the best server.

Well Venice has gotten a quite boring server, sure there is PvP all the time but was alot more fun and more action when Warchild were constantly fighting GlamourS now there are no guild wars anymore. so its a pretty boring server.

Oasis is one of the best servers i played on.

It's always active and fun.

There is always something to do in front of DW.

What is a server without

Well, I can tell you what server not to go to. Alps, the only reason I am still on it is because I don't feel like starting over and getting to level 60 again. I hear a lot of people talk about Venus but I tried it and didn't like that one either. There was just so much childish drama even from reading the globals there that I got sick of it fast.

Well I havent seen Blade nor Overkill fighting off the bots in PvP

Imo probably every older server got the things somaro said, Alps has that too lol...

CCF'ers ~ "global king" is gone for a while but there are still ppl spamming all the time

I've also checked out Venus
the contrast is that the low lvl areas are still filled with people
you don't get that in the older servers
but who's low lvl for a long time anyways? ~.~

@Topicstarter:
if you want to start out completely from scratch, new server etc. it probably makes sense to start on one of the [NEW] servers. Because there you can work your way up and you wont feel lonely at the start

there is always pvp (DW south)
most of the time job wars (DW east)
global fights which are fun to read at times.... some times not -.-
share partys all the time(high levels most of the time)
ect

The server where legits work together with bots.

There are more legits then meets the eye, and i'm not talking about 3x's

I logged on to Oasis about a month ago and went so Sought DW and no one was there... in fact no one was anywhere except Hotan.. and constant gold bot spamming globals. I think it sounds like it will be Venus.. Or the next new server if one ever comes out. Does anyone know if they are planning on opening another?

Venus is a nice server.

Where were you and did you have a guild/union? If you say China then your point is moot as Venus is a European based server, if you say you were guildless then your point is also moot as you'll have a harder time finding parties outside a guild. Lastly, did you take the initiative and make your own party in party match advertising for BHA/Avalon/Overkill/Blade.

I tried making my own party. I tried a Euro bard (Lv12) and a Chinese - I also had no guild, but I can survive without a guild on Pacific, guild's aren't everything. I suppose I rather the people on Pacific, that's why I went back there.

IMO
Pros of venus: Legit majority, lots of party grinding (if you actually get past 3x and get into a legit union) Decent economy. Good pvp during the day (once it gets past 12AM eastern theres no pvp till around 8-9 AM)
Cons: No triangular conflict (mostly hunters/traders....there is an up and coming union that i'm hoping will theif. We need more theives )
Gets dead at times.
Fortress war is a joke.

I was thinking of making a chinese character if Venus is euro based.. should i look else where?
