what nukes do u use?

ive been told some nukes are good and some are useless so im wondering what nukes do u use?

im more intrested in fire nukes as light i just use the last book all the time but fire?

well i would try fire, and light. cold is weakest but also cold has the snow shield skill which a nuker can use that is very good. i have a fire/light nuker and we was ok but died alot. now a am farming a cold/fire nuker he is doing ok he is lvl 36 atm FF at lvl 32 with sp to burn

ive seen lvl 90 people doing more damage with the last fire nuke than with the last light nuke, but i dnno :S

Wide is good for grinding and group pvping because it can hit up to 5 people but for solo pvp i tend to use this nuke less because its slightly more weaker and it has a large cooldown. Though you should get it IMO because it is useful and fun to use.

Depends on, when I get powerlvled I'd rather have a nuker who uses light than fire.

Combined with buffs and thinking about later caps, for a pure int Light > Fire. If you max fire, once the cap comes in odds are you're going to have to drop light unless you like getting 1-hit during pvp. So without light you will lose 15+% of your dmg. I think eventually light will be the strongest nuke when combined with it's buff.

-last light nuke is not to high because is the 1st ..
-hellfire is terrible on pvp/pve ..
-use flame wave wide 18 ( ho yeah ) when you face to mulptiple Vs
-light nuke both are good to kill many mob, pvp, pve (transfert)

apparently the wide has a long charge up and cool down time and isnt very good use in pve, should i just use burning? or should i use wide :S

also, is bomb not worth getting then? and hell fire not that good either?

surly the long cooldown times are good but not for use in pve

i want to know whats good for pve mainly as pvp for me is easy atm, i dont get killed unless i get ganked or invisi by wiz.

Fire will be more consistent in max damage hit. Light won't. Light won't hit the higher end of the damage majority of time. Fire has a better chance. Fire will always be more consistent in high ending damage. Light is only "20" better in the nuke. But it has a range of about 550 in hitting. The numbers have a 550 difference. Whereas fire has around 300. Parry is always larger then hit ratio. Meaning you will hit lower end of the damage. Lights lower dmg is lower then fire. Fire will stay consistent where light will change up. Sure u nuke 12.5k with light but it could drop to 8k within the next nuke. Where fire could be 12k then 11k or 10k.

before u do all the maths and show statistics to try to convince ppl, make sure u have all the right data 1st !

1. flame wave wide 90 is 330%, NOT 300%, hellfire is 315%, NOT 300% as well (if u take those data fr mmosite, its WRONG)

2. piercing force is % mag DAMAGE INCREASE, NOT % mag attack power increase directly from a nuke, ur formula are all erroneous

Second, in my opinion, light is just import cuz of the buffs and speed right?
So i could go 90 heuksal/90 fire/ 70 ice/ 60-50 light, for the walking speed.

How about that, cuz i think that light isnt that important. Only thing it does, is adding a little % to your magical attack, but the nukes of fire are hitting bit higher anyway. And the speed.. of course.

So my most import skills will be:
Fire nukes,
mana shield,
gras walk,
light nukes,
some heuksal

no actually lvl 90 light nuke is slightly stronger than fire lvl 90
light is sterkste.. kijk maar op lvl 1 char als je light open doet op lvl 30 light nuke en dan fire, and fire is slow.. the meteor one but ur call

juz to prove to u that 90 flame wave wide > 90 light nuke

My term of comparison was my lv 70 S&S nuker. I had Horse's thunderbolt and compared it to Flame wave Wide and Flame wave burning.

Maybe it's a different story at level 80, but that was what I found. Also, you can see that the damage RANGE of lightning is larger than that of fire.
Here are some facts on the maxed nukes:

Horse's thunderbolt lv 6: 728 - 1352 (300%)-> difference = 624
Flame wave Wide lv 13: 780 - 1300 (330%) -> difference = 520
Flame wave Burning lv 18: 709 - 1182 (300%) -> difference = 473.

It would make sense that the fire nuke hits more stable at level 80 too, but maybe experience proves otherwise.

Trust LockStar on this one, though. I've been just level 70, whereas he is 80.


EDIT: here are the nuke facts at level 90:

Book 5 fire nuke - lv 89: 1028 - 1714 (315%) -> difference = 686
Flame wave wide - lv 90: 1060 - 1766 (330%) -> difference = 706
Level 90 thunderbolt: 989 - 1837 (300%) -> difference = 848

This is where my claim finds support. It might be the other way around effectively in game, but the numbers seem to support what I said. Note that I did not take into account the "%" increases for each nuke. They might just make the difference between how hard the different nukes hit.

Conclusively, only game experience can tell.

and fire imbue + 90 flame wave wide > light imbue + 90light nuke
its more than enough to offset the 3% mag dmg u lose for light 60 compared to light 90
3% x (assuming) 15k dmg = juz 450 dmg

I think this would be good for a powerfull atack if not blocked or damage reduced ur strongest light nuke if farmed , hellfire,wide and bomb repeat fire nukes and bomb as often you can.

How are you not getting it... Flame Wave Wide = Strongest nuke in pvp or PVE. You use it first attack then you either do sword skills, or you can do 2 other nukes inside the cool down time. Then you can repeat all over again until w/e you are fighting is dead.

What I'm saying here is if you want to be a fire nuker FWW is a must have.
