Hey who thinks silkroad is not fun as it used to be. I miss the old silkroad. The drop rate was better for me,achelmy was better and luck for me too. And there was nicer people and less greedy som and sos sun people too. But the most important thing was it was fun and guilds and unions really meant something. Maybe the new servers still got this, but the old servers like alps and oasis suck. now.

So i am on a long break, maybe venus sounds good, but i don `t know.

OMG everything in this game is because of Venus....

I don't think it's not fun anymore...i have soo much fun...
I have a great union, always talking, always friendly, tomorrow we will go to defend the fortress, always some trades going on...
Also - there are always partyes, atlest for the bit higherest lvls, and if you have a cool guild, and good friends, it's always fun.
And as long as i have seen how the things are in Hera....i don't really think it's better....

and yea i agree. i remember the first time how i played sro and it took me 2-3 months just to get to lvl 30ish...and nowadays i can just buy 4-5hrs worth of plvl and get to lvl 30 >.>

i really miss just hanging out on sro with my guildmates...messing around with uniques and job wars

give it awhile lol some people are not cap or full farmed yet,

but when they are, the server is either gona be really active, or the capped playerss is gona realize how boring sro is after u stop grinding and then quit.

But I think it was more fun before.

60 - The greatest. It was so nice back then! (Ice bladers and archers! sPuR on aege being a Ice Glaive).
70 - Would've been better if not for ice immunity and a really crowded cave.
80 - Yeah, it was alright, but kinda boring with lvl 69-skills. It became worse later that cap. (Then came euro and new skills which was fun )
90 - Well... Since status immunity is getting more rare, it might be a new dawn for ice users. However i dont know so much about the rest at this cap since its only been out for a month. *Fill in*

I think its still quite fun. But I don't know abt the PvP and jobbing that much, at this cap, yet.

i think this thread is done after this marvelous post/opinion covered everything that happened the past years in our sro world. Regardless of how it was in the past, i can still say i have loads of fun in this game, it never was about the lvling for me, it was about making good relationships with others, i think i have accomplished my goal so that makes me very happy with sro.

Browntyger started playing silkroad again but its not the real owner.. its Flip/ Fiction thats using him now. dEranged is still running but most of the old members quit, but some came back like Bubu and others.

Anyways, what Venus does has no effect on Troy. None, whatsoever. Venus is a completely different server, and what they choose to do on there isn't going to affect the gameplay on the other servers unless YOU change your behavior.

It's because most of the english speaking newbies/oldschoolers are on that forum.
They ask "Witch server should i choose?"
Then comes "TEH V3NU5 CR3W" and tells them 1243123124 reasons to go on Venus.
So eventually,all the fresh starters/comebackers go to Venus,and other servers will have "i spaek no engrish" and "lolwut iBot" players.

this is exactly right, there is a little bit of jobbing going on but so many people are busy trying to get capped, farmed, do alchemy to make some very strong gear/weapon

give it time guys, it will pick up in a month I say

Any server have different community....the gameplay still the same.If u wan to have a fresh start I recommended u to join those new server and u can reduce the population for the old server.Nothing change much just the community..
