So guys, i wanna have some fun and laugh a little - tell me your favorite Noob story(es)....it can be yours, or someone u know....
Lets remember what we have been when we started

I can't really remeber my story that could be so funny...exept that the whole time i was farming(on bandits-like 3 months) i didn't know what a unique is...and i was thinking it's a playes....i thought TG, Uruchi and the others are the strongest players and everyone wanted to kill them....i was like "OMG if i am so strong one day, will everyone going to kill me?"

Another story...a girl from my guild sold every weapon she has until lvl 20 when it was broken, because she didn't know there is a rapair option And she was always buying a new weapon +3 or higher, with blues and everything else. And she was always asking why everyone wants to buy Sox? Where's the point, when you will sell it to the NPC when it's so expensive....that's how we found out she didn't know about the repair

Now it's your turn Tell me your funny noob stories

When olympus opened, first day, i found some sos gear. Didnt know what they were and npc'd them.

i thought that thiefs can steal from your inventory :S

The first day i started to play, i random mashed every button on the keyboard to see what they did. I sat down and didnt now how to get up agian.

My friend found a lvl 8 sun blade when he was a noob and new it was worth alot because he had heard about it somewhere so he decided not to npc it, but to stall it for 20k.

when I started to play because my friend told me about this game I had no clue how to learn a skill and grinded without imbue and anything to lvl 10, after that he told me :O

my friend sold a som lvl 32 spear for 700k >.>

You are good, i have a friend that played to lvl 31 withoud lvling any str and int points....i can't even imagine it

when i finally heard about the masteries i upped them all, i tought im going to be the strongest so i need to be able to work with all weapons. You could have seen me running around switching from bow to glaivie to sword, using ice fire and lightning all together..

I was so weak because offcourse i didnt new a thing about farming or something

I was so sad when i heard friends and forum guys saying 'YOU TOTALLY SCREWED YOUR CHAR, START A NEW ONE'

On olympus i used herbs to recover HP and MP til i was 28...

The most noobish one of all.

It took me a LONG time to figure out I could scroll down in the skill window

And I also stalled some low lvl sos for 5k when I first started.

when i started the game:
i was right-clicking on the skills, instead of pressing 1, 2 etc on the keyboard
i was right-clicking on the potions, in my inventory >_<
i sold lv42+2 SoM glavie for 1mil... [2005, dec]

I thought NPC Thiefs were players and i was always so angry on them when they killed me (i was around lvl 10 back then) and said that they were mean to kill lowlvls
Therefore also thought thiefs could kill anybody (just like the NPCthiefs)

The NPC thieves were my nightmare back then I was always hiding and running away from the road so the couldn't kill me.... And i remeber when i was like lvl 32 some guy was making trade, passing through chakis, and i killed one NPC thief...and i was like "Die you meen killer of low level players".....i didn't make any difference between NPC and real thieves back then

haha i thought the same about thiefs being players. i was like Wooooh so many thiefs! i want to be one...

Sp farmed at bandit archers for 3 weeks
Grinded withotu imbue to level 30 rofl
didnt no there was 2 more skills in the tree untill i noticed at leve;l 30 i could scroll down abit and find some new skills

Naah it's not funny without those noob stories, i love them
Like my friends, who grinded to lvl 64 without auto potions and playing only with the mouse ( loading potions, click skill, feed wolf and horse) i couldn't even believe it....
And after that they found what the "T" does
Also...they found alhemy

had hope that jm would ban botters

My friend didn't know you could buy potions in bundles of 50 so he would buy them all individually and stack them up until level 60.

I didn't know that you could scroll down in the skill window, either.

Haha I also played without imbue till 13-14 lvl .
I found sos spear lvl 16 and sold it for 60k I was so happy I thougt I made good deal .
I used sword to 28 lvl altough I was str based,I thougt its no diference and sword looked better .
I played till 16 lvl without potions, I was resting imagine how long it took me to get there.
Me and my friend start playing we didnt know about whisper and we thougt that he can see my talking no matter how far we are. He get mad at my for not answering him while he called me and we were far away .
Later that day I told him I saw giant tiger, he didnt trust me

My very first char on SRO I lvled it to around 15 and had no idea how to add str or int points. I was hitting low damage and dying easily while everyone else grinding with me is much stronger. So I'm like wth then I found out about this.

found lvl 1 sos gear, wore it until lvl 21 because someone (another noob) told me like wow that is ownage armor, you should wear it as long as possble.

When i found out about stalling i tried to sell every one of my useless items wondering why i couldnt get them sold

Oh yeas stalling I remember I was suposed to stall evrything, even arows

I started when euro came , and I made 2:1 hybrid rogue ... got it to lv.25 ...
Then I made Auron

I was so confised with the skills...like a person that have never played any games before...
So my BF told me "You just press 1 and 2" (imbue and the first bow skill possible)....and after like 2 days he told me i had a new skill and put it on 3.... i was like "OMG how am i supposed to press 1-2-3 at the same time? Or i have to press them one by one? Or i have to press 2-3-1" i was sooo confused

When i just started the game i didnt know about skills. so i just trained using normal hits till like 13 (i was a formal runescape player, so u can guess why ). i told my friend to play sro too, because the normal hits looked awesome (i was using a glaive ). i also didnt know about potions, so i just sat down whenever my hp went down . i also remember me grinding at weasels (i was lvl 9) using normal attacks trying to get to lvl 10 so i could ride the lvl 10 horse .

and about the giants . my friend used to lvl faster than me (he was killing tigers at lvl 19) and he told me about tiger giants . i was like no way, and i didnt see one till i made another char

When i started, My friends didn't play silkroad so i had no idea about sp farming and that you needed to much. So i basically got like 3-4 accounts to like 21 and found out that exp was to low and would take me forever on a 5 gap

got lost in jangan palace. logged off and deleted the game. 1 week later i reinstalled and created an int archer.

Almost the same as me...i was an int hybrid archer 2:1 until lvl 32...and level 32 was like 6 month after started playing....then we realized that isn't such a good build...
