sword dances have a longer range than cut blades i believe

That is correct, PSD has the range.

PSD has the range and can hit multable targets but if you want a speedier attack (if your fighting a wizard for instance) then use the cut blade series or whatever its called. PSD also is a slower attack. which is somthing you may want to take into consideration.
