Alright.. question time..
what's the best mobs to grind on to get the highest chance for a 9D SoX weapon?
I have 2 theories.. but only hard evidence for one of them

1. mages/shaman
-they're level 77/78 so they'll for sure give you a 9d weapon, so maybe sun?
-they're the easiest to kill since they're lower than all the mobs at roc mt.

2. wing tribe/wing tribe guardians
-number 1 most SoX drop givers on my server. I've heard directly from people who got sun drops that they got it there.

anyone got any other clues?
i know that it's all base on luck..
but hell. just trying to put the clues together to get a higher chance of a drop.

Lower lvl mages still give 8d so its not cool. Imo antilopes are nice for sox farming

Any monster that can drop a 9d item, can drop a 9d sox. Go with the one you can kill easily, so you can kill more of, and get the most drops from, so it is also level dependent. Too large a level difference and you wouldnt get that many drops. Just kill more and more often, and you'll hopefully get an sox something.

fight anything thats 75+ and you have a chance of 9d SoX, solved
all mobs have the same SoX drop rate, theres no difference in where you grind at.

Grind on 81+ so that you have a chance of getting 9d chest aswell

Guildmate got a 9D sos spear on niya guards

above antinoke/antelop 82,83 and you have a good chance of getting sun.
especially in an 8man pt.

Any mob above 72 can drop Sox 9D how ever the 72+ mobs will drop more sos then sun.
The 85+ will be 100% sun b/c its joymax

it goes like this for 9D sos items
64-79
for 9D som items
80-84
for 9D sun items
85-88

but my guild mates got sun from lvl 82-83 antelopes.
so for best chance for 9D sun, i rather grind on 85 mobs.

SUN: Wingtribes (85~87)

SOM: Antelope (82~83)

SOS: Mages (78~80)

niya shamans n mages r 77/78

seems 80% of sun drops fr antilope 82 83 and wing tribe 85 87

SOM: Antelope (82~83)

Most of the SUN dropped in Xian had come from Antelopes. Although they also drop SOM.

The best way to get a SUN drop and make sure 100% it is a SUN is by fighting at winged tribe chasers/attackers (85-87). Otherwise if an SoX box dropped at antelope its almost like 50/50 chance of being a SoM or SUN.

On RedSea a Sun Staff dropped at Mages.

But yeh I heard and see a lot of sun at 85-87 mobs...

For sos its wing tribes/guardians, som and sosun drop 90% on antilopes and antinokes 90% of the time

most som/sun weapons we're dropped on antelopes/antinokes in my server.

my friend got sos spear in first day of 90 cap from black egals
so it's random

Hmm, so there aren't lvl 72 Eagles at roc mtn? or Shaur/Goats or how about them Feather Cloaks/Masks?

On Eldo, afaik: most som/sun 9D came from Antinoke/Antelope & Wing Tribe Chaser/Attacker.
(It's kinda normal when 80% of the 82+ are botting there -.-)

on topic: suns i think drop at 85/87 mobs, som at 82/83 and sos 76-80.. however.. sun armour i think also drops at 82/83, because it is not a weapon.. but thats just my opinion. oh and that my friend got a sun shaman suit at antelopes/antiokes.. (82/83)

earth ghost soldiers\warriors? well thats where i and a few friends got our soses... mine was a 76 glavie =D

i found a 9D sun dagger by Mangyang i were like "omg WTf"
