Kay.. so I just took a little half hour trip over roc mountain at venus server!
What's so great, seriously?

I found one avalon share party on a peak.. and another share party with a different union on a different one.
I checked everywhere, aside from a few turks botting, most places were EMPTY.
It's insane.. on other servers it's almost impossible to find a spot, Venus seems dead.
What's the point, honestly.
There's avalon and BHA. You grind for months, get capped.. then what? Grind some more? Pvp against idiot turks?
I don't understand it.

If I were to ever leave oasis, venus wouldn't even be a choice :|.
Even hotan.. dw south, samark, there's barely any people.
I dunno, I personally would rather have a large community of capped players to pvp against than a.. well, basically dead server.

Most of the players are legits. Most of the legits arn't that close to cap, we're more spread out as our players dont play 24/7.

And sarmak often has loads of people.

unlike oasis venus is NOT coverd with 3000 botters
so thats why theres less pvp
and not everyone is lvl 80+ grinding on roc mountain theres tons of people in takla and caves

Don't forget Venus is a fairly new server compared to others. Go check out Constantinople and the influx of new players, Samarkand, and Hotan

Your server might be packed but how many of those players are even sitting in front of their pc's while grinding? And a town full of bot stallers doesn't really count, eh.

welcome to how silkroad was ment to be played. on a legit server, the players are spread out in a pyrimid.

not as meny mid levels.
few high levels.

thats why being legit is importent. those that make it to the top gain a reputation for being there. useing that reputation, they build up guilds, unions, and help the people under them by offing them protection. in return there ends up being tons of drama, always a trade run to rob/protect, meny guild wars, and a huge community to participate in.

if you want mindless pvp, go play counterstrike. silkroad was ment to be a game about community and competition, not whos dick is bigger and who can hit a higher crit.

i just joined venus, but cant find any parties, or any guilds, only person i found was nightbloom

in fact Venus is not that bad. I don't remember getting any lvl 3x share parties on Xian. Only got 2 or 3 at flowers a loooong time ago. Try loggin on Alexander and start counting the real players in Jangan xD

if I were ever going to come back to silkroad (not likely, as I'm having so much fun in shadowbane at the moment), I'd throw my party on venus, guilds like avalon and BHA should be commended for the service they have rendered to that server and the entire game by default.

just cause there isnt many high lvls doesnt mean the server is dead... in Oasis, can u find 1x parties? i doubt. well, i have been in some in venus. can u see ppl in cons and jangan? well, there are many in venus (u can still find some legits in Jangan =]) hotan might not be as corwded as in the older servers, but there still a ot of ppl there... u can find alot of parties if u have just 1 person in ur friend's list (at 1x/2x/3x). i dont know how venus can be dead, because there arent enough high lvls :\.

Having a dead legit server is just as fun as a botting server tbh, im on hera theres hardly ever any pvp reason why cuz there all botting afk 24/7 get capped then start again on another char, and the point of this game is to pvp then lvl then pvp some more then lvl etc u get were im going, on Hera server there was never any pvp till probably 1-2 months after it opened it was boring as **** tbh, then 90 cap came and there was no pvp till another month down the line. what im trying to get at even Venus is dead as u put it so are botting servers that all full 24/7 so theres no difference tbh.

ok first off venus is not dead we are busy grinding and having fun and i can find pts all the time thou not many my lv lol but its not dead id rather have a server with legits and not much pvp then a server full of bots and alot of pvp P.S. u only visted venus so u cant really say what you just said

There is PVP almost 24/7 at S Gate Samarkand. There arent a lot of high levels botting cause most of them quit cause Albel takes them out by making them murderer. lol

No shit sherlock. You expect a server where everyone caps? What is this BS, without bots you would this:

>4% Higher than 70
>30% but <10% at 4x-6x
<60% between 1 and 3x.

Not the BS you have on older servers:

90% botters with 6+ capped characters.

So when a low-level actually starts there are no other low levels to interact with.

Think Pyramid. On Venus being capped actually means something. On Oasis being capped doesn't mean shit, you're just another capped player that'll be accused of botting by every other botter. No matter how many times you say you're legit, I garuntee there will be a large group of botters who have got every other botter thinking its impossible to cap without botting.

A SERVER IS DEAD WHEN THERE IS A LACK OF LOW LEVELS No New blood = dead server. Not the other way around. Welcome to how SRO should be, I hope you enjoyed your stay.

well said, its nice to see new players about. they are actually worth my advice as they are new not some new bot.

then again iv always had someone my level to grind with usually cus i dont bother with a server less i started the day it came out or soon after

And fly is right. Its not supposed to be the entire server is capped. You can actually have fun in ctf at level 20, the whole servers balanced...theres just as many low levels as there is higher levels =O
