So I'm just wondering is there any Euro build that can tank a giant by it's self?

I can. Bless spell on a giant around my level works wonders. Now a party giant, in that case I have to run.

1h Warrior for sure, 2h warrior and dual axe too, for the rest, all with cleric subclass

1H Warrior ? lol ....

Warlocks are pretty good at it.

Probably best euro build.

any warlock or cleric sub can kill a giant

1h Warrior after level 10
Dual axe after level 20
2h Warrior after level 40

Tanking pt giant:
1h warrior after level 10
Dual Axe and 2h Warrior, after level 40

All with cleric subclass, without, all warrior builds, wizard (zerk, strong nuke, knockback, fear, bash away), warlock (don't tell me that's not true), and cleric. Bards and rogues can't without cleric subclass though.

Pt giants spawn at 30 but at 30 all you need to tank it as a 1h warrior is shield trash. What I should have typed was:

lvl 30 1h warrior can tank and pt giant once it gets shield trash.

I tanked a lvl 30 hyeongeon(or w.e it name is) pg giant. no one helped.
lvl 30 1h with npc stuff. i think only 29 weapon but that doesn't count as defense lol

A regular giant at one 's own level? All full str euro builds can. For int builds, the ones that sub cleric can.

oh ya forgot about shield trash but if chineese had a tuanting skill, then euro warrior would be a big fail

i can tank a giant (dagger rogue) and i don't use sub class - good gears, good weapons - just learn how to use your skills to your advantage.

.. And i was about to say Rogue can tank giant pt as well, idk about rogue daggers but I know rogues xbow can. Just dont have the dmg skills activated. And you do need good gear.

Xbow rogues can tank giants.

Hhmm, 1H sword/cleric can tank a giant solo. Thats the ultimate tank.



OT: I still dont understand why some euros grind like chinese. ¿Is hard to make euro friends, depending about ur job?. I am a 1H sword, for me is too boring grind alone, so i have in my list several wizards rogues (nukers/dmg dealers) , and several warlocks, bards, cleric (buffers, or as i call them, assistants ). I pvp if my friends doesnt are. Not hard.

I disagree a Wizard will get owned in like 2-3 hits from a monster his lvl. Even with zerk I died 80% of the time against a giant because of many reasons mostly the fact that wizards can't tank AT ALL another reason is what if you get another mob after you from lights splash dmg? Also even if you don't arrgo any mobs with the splash dmg of light what's to stop one from just running up behind you and after 1 hit from both the giant and the regular mob your dead.

I'm a Rogue/Warrior and even BEFORE I had a warrior sub, (which does nothing in solo play) I actually preferred using my dagger to kill giants (of equal or lower lvl), the key is DON'T USE DD! if you have your pots set right, when you need to use another pot, you'll have ether 0 or 1 second left on delay. and you don't even have to use any vigors, unless you get a few crits

Dagger rogues can handle giants just fine.

After 80 though, xbow is much easier and 'cheaper' ^_^
Hurricane Shot > Blast Shot > Intense Shot > Power Shot > repeat as needed ^_^
