Does age matter?

Well does age matter when it comes to playing SRO? Say for instance your guild leader is younger than you, does that bother you at all?
For instance my GM is 17 and we have ppl who are a lot older in the guild, Would that bother you being lead by some one younger than you? (Just trying to pass time since Troy and Greece are down

)

Glad you have the authority to tell adults what they should do with their free time. In my guild I know we have at least 6 members over 21, all 5 have a spouse and kids. they must have no life's eh?
As far as the OP question, wouldn't bother me as long as the GM is mature and does his job properly. I've had GM's that were younger than me (Im 19) and it didn't bother me one bit.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever read. By posting this comment you just told SG that he shouldn't be playing video games. There are multiple people playing the game over 21, one of my unionmates is retired and she plays the game to pass the time.
OT: Well it depends how young the person is. If my guild leader were 10 years old it would bother me somewhat 'cause I know that at 10 I couldn't have organised and led 50 people.

Why not? Can't (young) adults spend their Leisure time having fun on their computer? What would you do?

I'm 21 and thoroughly enjoy playing games. I don't know anyone my age that doesn't, and to be honest, I wouldn't want to know anyone like that.
I agree with EvGa on this, as long as they are mature and do what they need to, I am good with it. It bugs me, though, when young people get on and start doing things wrong, and get super upset when you try and give them advice. Teenage angst ftl.

Most people that I am around are done with college at this point. They want to be able to come home from work and relax while playing a game of some sort. I know thats how I am. ^______^

College is easier than Parents make it out to be.

Go to Class, Study for two hours then do w/e the hell you want.
@Gemini, That is why "young" is in parenthesis. It allows the reader to omit it if he (she) chooses to. The reader picks the part that applies to them.

Your friend didn't balance his time properly.
OnT: I don't care if you're younger than me. As long as your leadership skills are topnotch and you're a good person.

GTFO. My GM is 41 and he's the funnest guy in the entire union, I've known him for over 3 years now way before sro. He's one of the funniest/funnest/most entertaining people I've ever been around. Age doesn't mean shit.

The majority of people that play games are over 21.
I sense a failed opinion.

If there were so many kids playing this game it would be ridiculous.
The game would be over competitive.

don't mind a GM younger than me...in fact my GM now is more than twice my junior LOL! (does that make me too old?)
but then again, our GMs have always asked for the consensus of everyone before coming to a decision. it's always a vote...so i guess our GMs did well.
