Why do gold bots only farm for gold in china? Is it because the monsters are easier to kill. Thats the only reason I can think of it. (or am I just blind)I don't really go over there too much for quests b/c they suck.

I don't really see any gold bots in euro correct me if I'm wrong.

If you got a better reason than mine post it.

I think it's because there bot is more glitchy or not as fast in the european areas.

yea... i seen GB ( gold bots ) on euro n chin side ... on my nublet char there on demon n earth ghost are populated like crazy yea there on both side but more on chin bec on the chin side mobs dont stat... in euro they knock down knock back fear stun n more

My guess is because they already have all the coding and grinding areas and everything built in, why change it? Plus, chinese mobs seem to be weaker.

Those are player owned gold bots and using European gold bots is more profitable once you get to magical based mobs. Chinese based gold bots last longer and are easier to maintain, the mobs on the Chinese side also seem to be not as tough as European mobs.

[EDIT]Clientless auto creates farmers. They have used the same parameters for awhile now, that is why they use chinese. They cba to add European creation to the code.

I wondered that too. Warriors in heavy armor can slap mobs to death ex- 76 warrior slapping bone soldiers, but I think most companies don't wanna switch their set up or someting. I also wondered if their auto'd like.. once they reach a certain level they move on their own or do the companies move them and put on their sos/better gear on.

I'd say it's because they aren't having to fight with pot delay. That's why they're Chinese characters in Chinese areas. Could be wrong =D

id say this is one of the biggest reasons + the pot delay = they would die alot so they would have to go on like mobs MUCH lower then them, even lower than if it was a china gold bot

Actually, there's a particular group of people on my server that have a 24/7 8/8 party on the 85/87 mobs.
I don't know what they're using, but the cleric buffs everyone as if it were a normal person and the killers run to the same mob to kill almost every time.. an actual effective bot party, I think there's 5 euros and 3 chinese, and a few of them are level 90.

Nope, they can bot in Euro grind areas; just for some unknown reason they don't; and I'm willing to bet that because in Euro areas up to Samarkand, its all Euro drops, and how would any Chinese goldbot make use of those kinds of drops? They couldn't.

However, in Odin I did catch a few of the infamous old_gt guild, which is made up entirely of someones goldbots (they are mostly seen in the Dead Ravine, all banned now according to Rev6), botting it up at Punishers just near Penance Bridge.

2. You cant bot in const. & sam is buggy. That's why when new servers come out you see some euros in jangan instead of constant.

Sure they're meant to party, but did it really turn out that way? If the potting was still at 30seconds then it would be forced to party play, but a wizard can gold bot anywhere if it's magical and same with warrior at physical. Thing is about that.. the gold company don't wanna change their easy set up.

Shortly b4 fort war update there used to be chinese nukers at kokoru at samarkand. mostly at west gate and a few at south and north. Out of the 8 or so there were about 6 had sos weps to =/

The "new" ones grind more efficiently.

But I can still grind with my Chinese char. All the bots seem to like the same spots, while other spots seem to be mob infested. I'm only at chakji's though. I wonder how the whole thing would be if they could grind equally efficient as a human player. SRO would be truly dead then.
