Ecsro is claimed as the only private server with enforced anti-bot rules, and punishments. Unforutunetly how those rules are enforced very greatly.

To begin with, what I am showing is that behind the scenes, what it comes down to for the GM's is, it doesnt matter how many people bot, aslong as the revenue rises.

so to begin.

prior to 4 weeks ago, http://www.silkroad-trader.de had a section called "Tools/cheats" this section contained, if you dug a little deeper into it, a tool called "sebi precincts" This tool is the very early version of the current iSro bot that is used on iSro servers. It originated the same day the private servers began opening. Which seems all too convinient. The tool is free to use, and easily downloadable.

Once the legit public found out the tool is on the official ecsro forum, and they began pointing it out, it was quickly removed there after. Alsokeep in mind, the bot wasnt posted by a member, but rather by a moderator, who aswell gave tips on how to set it up. Seems odd a legit server posting a bot for that server, doesnt it?

Once more, the client is 1.091, and the bot coresponds to it. Bot can be easily disabled by the server, all it would take is for them to edit the media.pk2, release a new download, change the server edition number, and the bot would be useless.

For them to satisfy the legit comunity, they have created a "method" for catching bots, tape bots botting, send in screen shots etc. and GM will investigate. For you to show somebody bots, you post on their forums "bot" section and they take a look into it, if your lucky that is.

Ofcourse now the alleged botters name is on the forum, where he can see it and be aware GM might go after him, and he will stop botting for a few days, or just baby sit and go afk less frequently, so he has pretty much a 0 chance of getting a ban, case in point (LeAngel, x52, 4224, etc.)

Now moving to the subject of people appearing high level, when nobody even saw them level. Take for Instance MrEmil, a level 90 glavier, who was level 1, and then 1minute later a full farmed 90 with a full set. Or take Mr47 for example, level from 84-90 in a matter of minutes. Both of them were leveled by the GM.

I have been wondering, why did you level a ex-friend from 1 to 90. I would like to know how this creates a fair and "legit" server? And how are we legits supposed to competed with full farmed 90's that never even level, just logged into a brand new account with a 90 sitting in it. On top of that you provide them with gear and items. as you can see this would prove to the legit game players that you are hypocritical and they would leave the game, because it would be worse then iSro. In the end you would just lose money. I wonder how the legits would react if i posted this information on other forums.

Aswell, you didnt just level him 1-90, you leveled others aswell. If this was a isolated incident, it would be easy to solve. Unfourtunetly there are numerous people who have went from 1-90 in mimutes over the past weeks, and even from 84-90 overnight.

Is there a liable explenation for this?

I was shamed to do this, now I will make his level back. Howver I have no idea about other char's if you have their char's name please PM me I will check it out

You did a lot for ECSRO as I can see that. So I wouldnt choose a good friend leaving just for some unfair reason.

ME---Mr47 went 84 to 90 in a matter of minutes. MrEmil went 1-90 in a matter of minutes aswell.
When server was created It was said no "botting" but i guess in your eyes you can level your "friends" from 1-90 so they dont have to bot.
And Emil and you are not friends, Emil just spends a lot on this game and you you are fueling peoples greed so that they spend more on ecsro.


So to summarze, the GM claims he is a friend, but little does he know, i am an acquantance of Emil, and the kid loves to brag. some of his MSN comments on GM's actions and how he gained 90.

after that he starts his Call conversasion, where he comments how he is going to ask GM to make him a 90 str char too. the next day i got a PM from MrEmil to come pvp. I got to dw south, he was a 90 galvier, farmed and fulll set and +5.

Its evident they are not "friends" but rather he buys a lot of silk, and wastes money on this server. In return GM leveld him.

Botting is one thing, but logging into a 90, is totaly a seperate subject. This is a total put down to legits. I have hand grinded to 89, and am serriously cnsidering charging back all the money i spent. This server isnt worth a penny.

In my honest opinion ECSRO should be labeled as a BOT server, and not be discused any further on this forum, as it stands against all that this forum values and believes in.

No surprise there, ecSRO is just a cash cow. If they wanted a REAL legit server, they wouldnt allow you to fcking buy 1bil gold for $20. Its worse then iSRO.

yea doesn't sound too good, get out of there.

The thing is they have a fully functioning server and they are profiting probably over 5,000 usd a month. Ocean or whatever does not care what they do as hes getting free money. Ironically the same way Joymax makes money(excluding selling gear, gold, and sp). If I was him, I would let it ride until the server is taken down or dies.

It wont die. There are people that are too damn power hungry to care how much they spend on a game. The easier the better.

Trust me, i know a few of those, and even they are fed up with this. After all, people want an advantage, and there is no advantage if the guy next to you can buy gear too. They are all the same. Same gear, same stats, etc... server is already starting to die out.

Ever played Japan sro? It's the EXACT same thing before they updated skills, euro, and cap. Count how many other servers that have been online that is playable. I count 2 MHTC and Ecsro. It's extremely rare for a private server to work as identical to the real thing. Theses ones are using the real stolen Joymax files.

Why would you bother playing on it anyways? Its shit. And to spend money on silk is even worse.

Not surprising considering within the first few weeks there were people (non GMs) with full Sun +9 set. Listening to them bragging about how the GM gave it to them and stuff. Other people talking about paying off the GM for 1 mil sp and stuff like that. In a sense if you payed the GM they would probably let you bot.
Real horrible stuff. iSRO with twice as many bots is better than that.
Atleast the iSRO GMs didn't ever turn anyone max level for any purpose whatsoever.
Edit: Their forum is full of fail. None of those people that play it are self sufficient. All about GM I need this, I need that.

Atleast someone learned from Joymax. Ocean opens up the reg page so the server would get even crowdier. Then they release a "VIP" server but you have to pay to get it.

IMO thats stupid for them to lvl the chars to 90. Then they will get bored fast and spend less money also. Think of it this way:

You start a new char your going to get and use a gt and a pick pet till that chr is maxed out. If the char is maxed out there is no need for a gt or a pick pet. So they are actually losing money doing this. But w/e i hope JM shuts them down anyway, cuz they are making money off something that isnt theres. (although im sure most of us would do the same if we had thought of it first)

Well, i never reached higher on iSRO thann lvl 42, in like 4months ?
now, i am 53 in 4 weeks!
it's not a big deal gm is making ppl lvl 90, we all get 90 in like 6months or so!
i like it more on ecsro, nice guild, nice union, events, i DO HAVE A AUTOPOT, which works perfect, never problems.
what are you with 1m sp ? , when farming at 52 you get like 12sp per kill!
just try it , you won't be disappointed
