pfff, roman empire crucified thousands of people, why one of those 3 guys its supossed to be jesus?

look how the 1 middle cross is taller then the other.

it's not taller, it's called Perspective it's just the angle of the camera that makes it look that way sheesh take an art class

if you compare the body itself to the cross (i.e the length between the top of the head and the top of the wodden pole) you'd see there all equal on all 3

It's not Jesus Christ because Jesus was NAILED to the cross, those corpses are tied to the cross. Like another guy said, Romans would crucify people all the time, it doesn't mean they did it to represent Jesus. It's quite a cool wee site though =)

They could represent the crosses that Rome left all over the place where they Crucified criminals as a warning to other criminals that they could get Crucified as well.

Ehm yea, the Silkroad was acctuly a real thing and they had trades between the roman empire and china soo....... yea it would be kinda commen seeing a cross as a punishment. If you guys get what i mean lol

@starter of topic, i already discussed this in a long long thread, i kep fighting and fighting, but BArotix proved me wrong
1) it was common in that time to crucify people
2) there is more than 1 skull on the ground

Tell me why does this offend you? Why do you think this is targeted at you? What if it isn't? You realize the Crucifix does not originate with Christianity? 700 AD, that is ~670 years after your lords death. So Joymax just decide to "insult" Christians, right? No, my friend ~ You're blowing a harmless image out of proportion. It is not targeted at your religion, it is not uncommon practice to Crucify people who commit high crimes. Stop interpreting things in such a ugly way, the Images are not meant to harm you or your beliefs. They are showing the different cultures across the Silk Road ~700 AD.

i argued in a 4 page thread about this, but i couldnt suppport my view.

i dont think so, this thread will be locked cuz there will always be flamers,i already got the idea that this picture isnt about jesus, so good luck convincing the topic starter!

Romans crucified people before Jesus was born, and after his death. Thousands died this way. Crucification was the way Romans do capital punishment back then.

And for those of you who are interested, Jesus is 100% not the man on that cross. His body was taken down BEFORE he decomposed into a skeleton. Then he was buried in a cave, where he eventually disappeared from after his resurrection.

I would just close it, my bet says it's going to turn into a huge sectarian riot between Christians and everyone else. Backfire already proved that the people here aren't capable of a mature religious debate and some people might find his photo offensive.

I don't think it's sacrilegious:

1 : a technical and not necessarily intrinsically outrageous violation (as improper reception of a sacrament) of what is sacred because consecrated to God 2 : gross irreverence toward a hallowed person, place, or thing

There's no evidence that hill is where Jesus died, no evidence that JM intended this to be so, and this game sure isn't sacred

On a side note, I adblock images, or put people who offend me so badly I can't stand them anymore on ignore. <shrug>

All that needs to be said is you don't make fun of my beliefs and I won't make fun of yours. I find that to be an easy resolution to emotional threads like these.

That would be depth, my good sir, or perspective as someone else said.

Ancient tribes used to always crucify people in order to put someone as an example, and it worked well too. Not that I'm for it, but it did work...

Right at the opening of the middle mountain(after passing lost town) you should see two paths and one of them leads to the left and that's where it is.
