Hello my char @ sparta (lvl82 wizard/cleric) has been hacked so i want to do a chargeback to take my money back and dont let this sob to use or sell that char, is it possible? and how? (i buy silk with paypal to that char and another char @ uranus)

i get it back thanks to gmail customer care i gave information about my e-mail, they gave my mail back and i changed my password ofcourse (btw guy made a set, 10m money thanks to him

Go to your paypal account and go to the sro payment page and hit chargeback

You pay for silk and use it. Now that something has gone terribly wrong, you want your money back by taking an illegal action [charging back without a true excuse after using a product]? Thats a dick thing to do... It's not joymax's fault YOU lost your char. Now had the char been hacked in the PORTAL bug, it'd be understandable... But there aren't just "hackings"... You gave your account info out and got farked... Be a responsible person and don't charge back...

don't listen to these people, i'm sure at least one of scammed or hacked a char before. just do a chargeback on paypal and do not regret it. call jm to get a refund

Honestly, i dont think its a 'dick' thing to do. Mostly since his character got hacked, taking in mind all his hard work grinding and the spending of money for silk. My first reaction would be to chargeback, there is no way that i would be allowing someone to have use of my character and my silk. Plus, its only fair for him to get some of his money back, maybe then he can start out on a fresh character and hopefuly not make the same mistakes, just my opinion.

You get "hacked" by giving someone the info to use your character and your silk. That's how it happens. People don't just get hacked out of thin air...You give your info to someone, either a "friend" or expecting to exchange characters or whatever other dumb reason you can come up with. Either way, YOU have to give the "hacker" the info to "hack" your account.

That's all there is to it.

You don't rob a company out of its money though... Simple as that. You BOUGHT [PAYED] for their service and you got it. No matter how bad a company is you cannot and SHOULD not be immature enough to be a little brat and take back what the earn. "Well I gave my account info out and I lost my 30$!" Tough shit, your own fault, not Joymax's, so you have no rights to take away the money you spent [KNOWING that joymax's a bad company] and take it all back.

what you paid, you meant to pay. What you are attempting to commit is called "FRAUD" Not many people are caught committing fraud, but if you are your in a world of hurt...

There are certain "customer sastification" arguments that can be made when charging back virtual items payment, but a lot of things come down to the user agreement that you accept when you decided to purchase the Silk. You agreed to it, bought your silk, and now charging back?

No. You're wrong. When you chargeback, they will eventually block your account for EXTRA RELATED CHARGEBACK. After this happens you can call joymax and get a refund for the silk you bought, but they won't unblock the account. Which means the person that has your account won't be able to play with it at all, and he will not be allowed to unban it since he doesn't own that paypal account that bought silk.

It doesn't matter if he even starts buying silk on the account himself, it won't make a difference, he can't keep it unless you chargeback the silk you most recently bought on that account.

Ps +1 on Backfire. He's right. You've paid and used the silk items. Because this is the internet it doesn't mean charging back is legal. They just probably can't do anything against it.

for as far as i know you can only cancel / chargeback payments for which the product isnt received yet.
