ok guyz, i was just wondering wut ur thoughts on each of these was..which do you think will do better FF at lvl 90 glavie or bow?

glavie has higher DPS, more HP,dull, stun and knock-back and nuker defense(bloody snake storm)..plus the get new ghost spear STORM skill...

but bow has...attack rating inc., crit increase, and MASSIVE RANGE, knock-back and stun...and WAY WAY HARDER CRITS


so, what are your thoughts here? which will be better for jobwars/pvp/guildwars full farmed at 90? assuming each have mostly equal gear and weapon.

well it all deppends if the bow actully wants to win, a bow can easily stay alive with knockback alone but doing that makes him have much less chance to win, when a bower uses both antidevil books instead of knockback within his skills he has much greater chance to kill the glavier but doing this gives the glavier also much better chance to kill the bower since its a blow for blow fight, who knows will have to wait and see really.... ohyea gear gear gear

against another STR it's best to wait until you stun/crit them or get a far distance before, you continue with a 2nd strong attack, like you say , you can easily stay alive with KB. bow is about waiting till the right moment to strike hard

Explosion arrow, strongbow, anti devil, anti devil, arrow combo.

That's an excellent plan for attack for a bow

Soul spear, ghost spear, soul spear, soul spear, ghost spear, soul spear....

Glaive doesn't have a wise attack plan, it's basicly medium attacks with medium/long cast time.

However, bow can do powerful long cast time, powerful short cast time, medium with crit short cast time, medium with crit short cast time, weak with fast cast time.

I'd say bow, but I guess we'll really just have to wait and see.

And now windless spear has some extra status on it, i cant remember which one, but it makes it worth getting.

LoL all glaviers mashes 3moves + 1 imbue
he tries to get dull+stun on u ,and when u r stun he will try to finish u off with mars or new move [Storm Cloud] n hope this move for a crit.

on the other hand bowman uses alot more moves + phantom to win @ PvP

if you look at the big picture, bow or glavie, its still all button mashing...

hmm have u ever played with a glaiver?
ghost spear is ONLY good when u want to hit the last strike untill then: soul spear emperor, soul spear soul/windless spear then when hit like that couple of time and had crit you use ghost spear.
So glaiver do have a plan.

At 90 cap, nobody know yet.

S/S nuker has..2 lit nukes, 3 fire nukes, 2 kd's, 2 stabs, bleed giving status skill (first one), combo, soul blade skill, ranged attack skill, shouts...Hmm I already count 14, 16 if you count 3 shouts...

What nuker uses the second light nuke when they have the last fire nuke as well?

Honestly i'd go bow just because its more handy in a teamwork situation. The ability to kb on demand if needed while still being able to deal out great damage from a far range.. sounds good to me.

It is a well known fact that glaviers are the most easy build in game, by this i mean you dont have many difficult to go with it, since your weapon mastery and fire mastery is a must, they got good HP, and fast kill, so it is not hard to lvl them at all.

EDIT: IMO glaviers are better, i have one. and i can deal loads of dmg, i can make ranged attacks, i can kill a lot of people. what else do you want?

Im so tired of these pointless post and the people that make this post aren't even in the high lvls so whats the point of making it. Just pick a build you like stick with it and stfu no build is better than another unless your str nuker then your a Farking idiot xD

@Rainigul, WAH! You dare disrespect the awesomeness that is the Glaiver?!

Glaivers have high DPS and are quick to wear down the opp, while bow is charging up his moves the glaive may have gotten 3 or 4 hits on him. Windless + Soul + Soul + Windless, just wear him/her down while trying to get dull and when you get that stun + crit use GS. Glaive is hawt, like fire. Bows are boring, zzzzz.

when Bladers pvp, they dont start with KD+stab these days, first they go for lightning chain + Crosswire smash and when they get all 3 status on them than go for 2KD's+ 2STABs, in between they even have to use ironwall shield again.

Bowmen on the other hand is a unique build, u juz cant stand there n get hit like glavier or blader. u need ur distance which u get by combo + phantam n than hope for a stun from strongbow n crit from antidevil.

When 100 cap comes glaivers will be using FD a lot more often because it becomes their strongest move.

Windless ~> FD ~> SOUL ~> SOUL ~> WINDLESS ~> SOUL ~> FD ~> GS.
Ghost Spear will remain the finishing move, you're right about that but what I should have said is: They will employ FD in battle more often because it will be on par with Windless and Soul. ^^

If flying dragon becomes a status skill, than its another story

they are both equally good, they both require sum EXTREME luck to kill each other, bow has the amazing crit rate and lucky stun/KB, glaive has the big dmg with sum crit and also high stun and bit mre hp. I prefer both TBH because i just think their cooler , glaive too common for me. KB from the bow can easily save a bowers life but glaive doesnt.

@Barotix FD indeed becomes amazing in PvP, but if there isn't a new soul spear by then (totally forget ><) I don't think many people will be using the old one due to only lvl 8 stun, windless in place seems more applicable.

The arguement could go on forever, but basically

There is no better class, each has its own advantage and by the time everyone realizes that Sro will have moved from single person PvP to the finer points of the game, like Group V Group. In all honesty if you know how to play bow you shouldn't die against a glaiver unless they get some REALLY lucky stuns/crits, but in turn the time it takes to stay alive deters from the damage given, thus creating a stalemate.

I dunno what server your on but if thats what the Glaivers on your server do, then they are awful.
Glaiver requires being aware of your previously used move. If you crit with a certain move you lead up with Mars. Only then should you lead up with mars. Until then you stick the basic 2 Hit combos (SSE,Windless,SSS).
Spamming Ghost Spear will never work on killing anyone. You have to know when your opponent is within 5k of death by the dmg you deal out. You don't just mash buttons. You have to keep a basic estimate of the dmg you dealt out, along with considering pot and such. After a while of doing this, it just sticks to your head. When you kill someone from doing this you can figure out a good approximation of the hp they have. I love all the people saying pvp is just mashing buttons.

i don't call people name, i just state the fact. and btw this is not 70 cap..bowmen with kb doesn't need to phantam anymore..that's what kb is for in 80 and 90 cap. Nowaday, i would like to see bowmen phantam so i could gain over half my hp back and it doesn't do bowmen any good anyway. trust me.
