Silkroad in 5 years?

I was thinking what would silkroad be like in 5 years?
I think there can be 2 things that would happen:
1. Silkroad is infected by bots and goldbots in 3 years every legit on all servers left (except Venus) and JM is making tons of money, the fourth year everyone stops because there are only bots and no one will buy silk anymore. JM closes silkroad because the low income.
2. Silkroad=Heaven. JM sold silkroad to Blizzard (or another "good" companie) and all bots got an immediate ban in the next 3 weeks. Legits are all over the place and no server traffic.
Silkroad is better then WoW, GW or any other mmorpg ever and everyone is happy (except JM muhahahaha

).
But probably it's somewhere in between those two options.
What do you guys think will happen to silkroad?

None of the above, you're going to be in the same position, you will be a higher level, but your situation is still the same, outclassed by those with better items or those at a higher level. The cap will be higher, and the bar will be raised yet again. There are those who will stay and those who will quit. An influx of new players and gold bots fill the void left by the quitters. As the cap gets raised, there will be a higher demand for gold, and as such, more and more gold botters are needed to acquire the gold necessary for sale.

I havnt giving up on Joymax to be honest, i think they are hella busy fixing bugs and Working on the Islam Update and Legend 4. This is what I believe.
Joymax goal is( thats what i think ) is to finish the game as fast as possible (all the legends) and fixing all the bugs.
Then they will create the ULTIMATE ANT BOT system and sro.. will almost be perfect ( i still expecting there to be bots but ALOT lower rate )

Agree. I think joymax isnt really up to banning bots in anytime soon. I think they are just working hell abusy fixing bugs and working on legend 4.

i think it will be empty if Joymax dont fix the bot so it can come new players... right now the game is just loosing players and the goldbots are just raising.

Silkroad = dead.
Silkroad and most current free games don't have a long lifespan, but since silkroad is a popular mmorpg it'll last another 3 years. (What I beleive will happen) There'll be around 3~5 servers and the other servers merged.

People, people, joymax are not working on legend 4 or islam. They are doing what they always have done - not giving a shit.

Really? That's why the developers made a huge cave when you reach lv 75(think its 75 or 85 to enter I forgot), new forts, and new quests that isn't pick up 1000 straws.
Developers care and the hosters care. It's just you don't care and love to complain.

If you didn't know the next game files are already on the sro files, if they have already done it then why would they do something?

from what i heard that there's only a few staff members. i think their really busy. they have to manage our 25+ isro servers and manage ksro and they have to work on new updates.

with the inflation of gold, it's not gonna be worth anything for much longer, than for all the 10th deg soX , well people will be trying to sell it for USD and by than maybe the dollar won't be worth anything either

lets face it, joymax is a business company, and they need money
player bots are the only thing keeping isro running

It should be gone, allowing bots and updating the game is just a temporary fix.
They are not attracting any new players with the traffic and they will not succeed in keeping players without solving the real problem, bots.
So, it should be dead by then. *prays*

joymax is prolly gonna stop updating silkroad in 2 years and then they will make another game with the same twist to it. and that new game will have of course, bots.

lol what makes you think Venus is gonna be safe from bots? The whole game started out legit and look how it is ;d, the only difference is the goal on venus is to be against bots, if other servers tried as much it wouldn't of been so bad for them either, but it's not gonna last for 3 years I can tell you >.>, if things keep goin this way bots will take over venus just like any other, botters are coming alot more then legits, and if joymax does do something about bots, then it wouldn't be just venus that would be legit now would it ;d.

there'll come a time when the hardcore legits of avalon will leave, when that time comes, venus will go under.
neway, sro will prolly be more or less the same, maybe less ppl.

Influx of new players? Have you seen any these past 6 months? Everybody I've seen finally managing to enter the game leaves quite quickly. New players don't buy premiums to try out a new game. Most we get are new characters for current players, and more bots. I think a lot of paying players will leave when a better game comes along, and Joymax will have a serious problem. It also depends on if they will keep up with the time or just extend the game. In that last case they will be leapfrogged eventually.

All games die right? wow will eventually die, as will css, as will sro.
The game will continue to run until JM decided they aren't getting enough return for the time and resources put in. Will this be before 5 years? It all depends on the competition.
So my simple vote: It will naturally evolve until it gets to a point where it is shut down due to outside variables which could cause many different affects.

sro has just turned into a "rich mans game", the only way you can have any impact/be good at the is if you:
1.buy silk
2.buy a bot for your char
3.Get goldbots
4.buy gold
5.buy gear with real money
i feel Sro will die within 2 years, i'm quitting now at lvl 80, i love this game but i can't afford decent 8D or 9D without buying gold....and plz don't say "make it yourself" i tried that, and after failing 15+ stones in a row i'm giving up, i have THE WORST luck at alchemy in the world, i think i have more failed stones than total EXP on my lvl 80 char.
i also feel the flood of 9D SOX is ruining the cap just like the 80 cap. The games population will slowly decrease and with every player gone a gold bot will take it's spot and it will eventually die.
it's not really about who is the best skilled anymore. It's who can purchase the most SUN gear and whose willing to spend the most money to be the best. The day you have to start spending real money on a free mmo to get better is the day the game has lost it's meaning and intrigue

Probably still the same but even more automated. They are making alot of money from this game...I mean alot. All of the old servers are replicas of each other. Everyone is just botting...everyone has a prem ticket. Walk around hotan on the servers that are always packed...you will see nothing but bots buying pots and going out to hunt. All of em have prem. It's almost sickening.

I think this game will be up as long as they keep making this much money from it.
But I see turkish players keeping this game alive more than anyone else in 5 years. They are already starting to outnumber everyone.

If you make TurkSRO it'll not rid all the Turks unless you can ip ban em.
But ISRO is there for everyone
