It usually takes rev6 a few days, but they do convert the botlist to entrees in their database, allowing you to see the level/equipment of the banned people for each server. Very handy IMHO, because at least this way it's visible there are also several high level botters that got banned. It's obvious certain (silk buying) botters never get banned, but still.

Any bot bans are good but how many new account are remade after one ? They need to stop new accounts after a ban for a time and the real players to start reporting the ones left. Weeding them out but this would mean joymax doing some work in the long run it would mean more real players = more chance to sell silk = more profits

Imho if they (joymax) can't stop the bots (I don't think they try as hard as they could and should) then removing the ill earned gains from those abusers would be justice served in my view (just 2 examples there could be many more)i.e:

1) A player bots for levels and comes back to find no EXP/SXP gain but loss of EXP/SXP even sets, items and gold gone

2) A player buys gold only to have it removed from their accounts. This would make most gold buying players think before buying gold. I bet most would charge back and could force prices of gold up The seller(s) mite be forced to leave this game due to the costs and or the options (being removed) to receive payment for gold

This weekly botbans keep goldbots from reaching highlvl, thats all but nothing more.
Its pretty easy to create like 9 accs to occupie 1 slot in server, so when a botbann takes its place in history, only 1 from 9 acc is banned, and one of the can take the free slot on the server in no time...

Traffic stays traffic, but no highlvl goldbots are there and thus, gold will be expensiver to get.

but i just left it cuz i wanted to be legit and it was another account
