so after years of endless grinding and puting up with a terrible bot community. im thinking of finally quiting Silkroad Online > < ive found a different interesting free mmo (WITHOUT BOTS O:) ill miss all the fun pvp times. and a few close friends ive made through this game. Well i havent just made a pointless thread to say im quiting...

we all know the bad sides to Silrkoad.
bots
non-english speaking community (not racist at all > < just hard for me to play when i cant understand them)
server traffic constantly
etc.
etc.
we all know its problems.

Lets look at the good in it : D
........
interesting skill sets
the joyful moment you get when you get your first sos drop (level 1 helmet > >;)
and all the fun yet rediculously hard trade runs when your low level ^__^

i think im ready to give it up.
have any of you thought about quiting?
have you quit but your still talking the SRF for something new to happen?
what will i do with my account? O.o (level 31 pure int wiz/bard, lv32 pure int cleric/bard, level 32 rogue/warlock)

im thinking of giving my account to my friend who recently joined the game. but im not sure : )

Yeah i thought of quitting countless times, sometimes to switch to another free mmo (each and every one suck) sometimes out of pure boredom. But the problem was i had too much free time on my hands, even with a few hobbies i couldnt fill the time so i'd always get back to playing..

Heh I quit/took a break from SRO for 6+months and it really wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be
But me being home schooled stay home a lot and because of that I get bored after I'm done with school at 3 pm and so I came back to Sro only I don't play it anywhere near as much as I used too. It's just something to do at 7pm on a school night

ive quit twice before. its easy to move on where the game is concerned but i just missed my old friends...

not to mention the game is really fun when you start caring less about the bad sides...

i keep thinking i should quit but dont really want to
its like an angel and a devil on each shoulder situation :)

specially wanting to max out after all the time, effort and money i have put on my characters. i do like this game, probably the one game i have liked the most and lasted the longest in ever. Its just sad that its managed with such agressiveness towards making you pay. of course you dont have to pay, thats what i was thinking when i started on venice, and now one of the most crowded servers. so yes i do have to pay monthly if i want to play. not to mention the cost of just being at 9d, alchemy prices! omg, at least, if your a lvl 40 and you have the patience to fight traffic added to constant disconnections and lag, you might be happy with ur free silkroad experience.

After years of playing (thinking) and just made chars tops lvl 32?
i have played for 1,5 years and have 8x and 7x char.
Anyways gratz, quit is hard to do for some people and just cost money. So i say have a happy life without SRO :)

I was absent for 6 months, and came back today. I think all you need is a break from the game. Once you come back, you won't mind having to try 20 times to log in again :P

Seriosly, WHAT THE HELL!!
When you join new "FREE" games, SHIT is what you get.. WTH can u expect?
When u play free shit games, shit is what u get, so dont complain.
If you want SERVICE, and GOOD GAMES, YOU NEED TO -> PAY <- !! EITHER 1 Time fee, OR monthly, Its NEEDED, if you want a good game without all the SHIT you complain about (BOTS, Traffic, Non english speaking community etc etc) ..

Anyways, I quit for a month after during March, and then I got back into Silkroad again because my friend shared accounts with me and he had a sun blade and all that. I quit again for 8 months and I came back during April when I got an email on the 90 cap =)

I played sro for 2 years. Been to 4 servers but the best servers were venice and pacific. I made lots of friends and did awesome things in game. But the game changed over the years. I still remember the good old days where bots are rare to find. I've quit sro for 10 months because I need to concentrate on my studies, after that I came back but things changed, it's not the game I used to love. Now I quit the game for good.

Anotherplyer is right come join us in OTL. You can quit sro but SRF is still here. Whenever I have a free time instead of playing I usually go to OTL. We got lots of good stuffs and topics there.

I've tried to quit lotsa times, I managed to once, for like a year. But then got that "Need to play Sro" feeling and came back. I would play 9Dragons, but it doesn't work :x
