like topic says. 1 person on srf sad "If you want to know if Joymax is winning the war on bots or not go to a gold selling site and monitor their prices. If they start going up, Joymax is winning." last time i see gold price was 89.11 and now 92.19 (300mil) what do you think guys?

by the looks of it, joymax isn't winning at all. The servers are still crowded with goldbots. Take a look at venus. The capacity cap was raised and within a few days, the servers were crowded.

joymax isnt winning, the gold bots are.

prices are up because demand is up

Joymax is winning.
Not on the war against bots.
But the war to make the most god damn money from people who are sadly addicted to a cr4p service mmo and must buy a premium so they don't go though withdrawal.

It doesn't work like that, if it was one gold company that would be the case. The higher demand, the more choice of gold companies the consumer has, so they have to fight for the lowest REASONABLE price. It's all marketing.

Here's my theory, if every server is 3500 + / 3500, Joymax is losing the war against bots.

WoW only has $15.00 monthly fee and no extra garbage item mall
Silkroad has $15.00 Premium Silver Gold time(for login) and Item mall which can cost over $30.00 for the extra garbage.

WoW does not need to have the extra bs cause they have such a huge game base. Silkroad has to get as much money as possible while they can because their gamebase is so small.

1.they are only removing the bots not banning the accounts
2.they must surely be able to take the websites selling the gold ect to court for making money out a business wich they have no share in or whatever.

Joymax vs bots... Bot < Joymax

I'm gonna say stalemate.
My reason being that JM can ban a sh1t load of bots at a time, but gold bots are recreated the very next day and crowded servers within that day. Just depends who gives up first IMO. Like JM did for a few months. Gold Pric used to be like 100mil for 10 USD. Seems like they are starting to increase even more due to low stocks

I hope Joymax is doing all they can to stop this botting issue..

True, but if you look at the players... the ones botting are also the one buying gold... us, legits, try to do our best but what can we do ? JM banned only gold bots until now, not any real players

i think JM is pretty stupid for banning bots but not creating any sort of restriction on account creation...

obviously it doesnt matter what level gold bots are, they dont care if they get banned as long as registration is unlimited.

Price of gold went up because of rising gas prices. Farmers have to drive too . This is beginning to be more of a p2p game. You pay for gold instead of a monthly fee

The only way Joymax would be winning, is if this were a War of Attrition. If that were the case, they (Joymax) are playing with a double-edged blade and should retaliate to the fullest extent of their company's power before they over-extend themselves and bring this game's downfall. That is the flaw in Wars of Attrition, what if you use up your resources before your opponent. Usually in such a war, you're low on resources and manpower. You're also on the losing side if you have to resort to desperate tactics. The gold companies will leave before the game falls. It is the fate of all badly run games, either failure or a renaissance.

What do you mean they only remove the bots not banning account @_@?

Well they're not winning the war but at least they're doing something, cleaning the server from time to time to let a couple noobs log on for a few days.. after that its back to same old crowded (on the older servers at least)

The war is waged not by Joymax but by the players.
