I need help how to get rid of Lag.

Whenever i meet a lot of people, Guild war, and fight Unique mobs all spawned Lag frozed and d/c my sro all the time. Is there anyway to get rid of the Lag?
I am using cable high speed internet.
My Pc 2GB dual channel Ram, Quad Core CPU, Video card 8500GT xfx 256MB i also try SLI but still not good, everything is fine.

Put your settings lower lolz. And atleast turn of shadows.

Reboot before you start sro and don't run any other applications (turn off autostart of applications at boot)

Shadows are the only thing I could see being a problem..Maybe check driver updates?

do a tracert to see at which hop you start to lag.

If it's around a lot of people, then try Setting your affinity to one processor?

Turn off any unnecessary programs running in the background.
Make sure u have the latest drivers INSTALLED
Set graphics on Low or Medium. (do this before logging in)
When u log in, set affinity to 1 core.
Since Legend III, sro seems to freeze again on dual/quad/octo cores.

With quad-core and 2gig ram I doubt it's the background programs. Change your graphics to large scale battle.

Well I dont lag even Im on a gaming "laptop". Well I formated my desktop and re-installed everything fresh and I ran sro and I felt like the performance was 50% better. When you run sro make sure your computer isnt updating or installing any updates. Turn off your anti-virus programs. End unnecessary processes. This should help a lot!

Sorry to say, but you could have the best pc in the world, top of the range cpu/graphics, maxed out ram and the best internet speed test. But the simple truth is, you isp (internet service provider) may have shit links to korea/asia. ISP speed test and all that crap don't really matter, cause they are either based on test's in your own country or to a popular speed test site.

Yea, try changing so sro only runs on 1 core, i have a quadcore too and i need to put it to 1 core else i get dc, heavy lag, crashes etc etc..
