In order to maintain a pleasant gaming and smooth patching experience, all servers will be undergoing weekly server inspection.

Weekly server inspection will occur every Tuesday.

Game Inspection Period : May 27, 2008 13:00~18:00 Silkroad Standard Time (5 hour duration)

[Patch]- Searching for 9th degree on Stall Network to be added
- Massive bot punishment
- Database backup

Nothing new here. Fixed a bug. That's about it. Their bot bans are farce shows.

Will they BAN silk buying BOTS ?

It's not a surprise to the bot companies if they announce it ahead of time. What a stupid idea.

The bot bans should be random--not always on Tuesday inspections--and unannounced.

if they announce a bot ban .... it means they already have a list... so it doesnt matter either way

Hopefully it will be enough to keep server traffic down a couple days like a while ago =x.


Light? lol Unless I see differently i'm gonna asume this is a gold bot ban, which does nothin but clear server traffic(for only a couple hours the last couple times), certainly no serious attemp to get rid of bots.

Probably just going to copy and paste names from previous bot bans and think that no one would know. Besides, even if the bot ban was legit, the bots would just come back right after another, there is no so-called "war" with bots.

Actually they are trying to show us some of their good steps they taking but they won't ever ban a silk user .... =S

what about the 20% experince event and ctf event are stayed for another week? and are they fix the log in bug and ctf bug?

If they stick to their plan, inspection will last another one hour and three quarters.

well i think banning the gold bots is most important. Especially banning they regularly. On the one hand there will be less traffic at first, which is the more obvious change. But what is more important is that the gold companies will get less and less farmers and gold. This is the reason why the prices are so high. And without there damn companies the prices will drop again and we legits will have a chance to get better items. Btw not only goldcompanies lose gold bots, also other players lose them so the full sun ppl will not be able to afford it. Eventually, at least thats my hope, the companies will stop creating new accounts, since they will get banned every week.

they should ban bots regularly to ensure a smooth gaming! check http://www.rev6.com if they just copy pasted the list of bots. last time I checked, only one was duplicated. That means they always have a new list of bots to ban if they're banning them.
