about 1 year ago one of my friend on sro gave me his charcter to try it, it was a pure int nuker, i didnt know how to play it AT ALL, i forgot that i needed snow shield so i never put it on, i would die against a chineese nuker 10 lvls under me. I SUCKED at playing it. WHY? because my character is a blader and i only know how to play with a blader or a build that i tried and grinded with. what iam trying to get at is all those botters when they reach high level wont know how to play at all so why the hell would you bot????

Takes very little time to understand the PvP concept of Sro. Group V Group on the other hand only comes through grinding with people and understanding how they play.

Reach cap faster, get better items, farmed alot quicker, more time to pvp hence pvp experience (there are slight differences in pvp and pve, like what skills)...
now what concept don't you understand...

Well, the skills of a person and how they learn to play a game varies from person to person...you must be one of those special ones.....unless ur a euro, gettin killed by someone 10 lvls is not something everyone can do !

what makes u think botters bot 24/7 without jobing/pvp.
I think they bot mostly at night and job/pvp while at home.
if this is true this means that a botter is more skill with there character because they might play 5-6hrs justpvp/jobing while a legit grind 3-4hrs and job/pvp 2.
don't get me wrong i'm not supporting botters..just my point of view.

Unless you're a Euro that does
partyV
party. By grinding in a party with a Euro, you get all the experience you can ask for. Players are just mobs with faster hp regeneration and better AI.

all you guys think that by botting you loose all of your skill in knowing how to play your char, but when in fact most who have botted started out legit and transferred over to botting. i mean you have to know how to play ur char to set up the bot

Maybe for euro... but i dont think the one who fights the same mob 5000 a day acknowledges how to fight more than the one who pvp 5 hours a day

It isn't the mob fighting. It is the knowing how to react to any situation as a team even with random people. There is (ideally) only one way to do this: Grind as a Group.
In Group PvP you have to know when to rescue this person, when to cast that buff, when to use a move (based off your team's position). It is oddly strategic. You learn this best in PvE.
Oh Shyt, My Wizard is getting mobbed: Ultimate screen.
Oh Shyt, Glaivers are trying to have buttsecks with my wiz: Ultimate screen.
NOOOES! My warrior died from giant!! Bless + Immolation. Then second layer of Bless.
NOOOES! My warrior was KO by gang bangers!! Bless + Immolation. Then layer bless again, now second warrior cast Physical screen on him. Vital Increase ~ Continue where he left off.
NOOOES! A mob escaped and is attacking my cleric: Sprint + KD/KB.
NOOOES! A <player> is hitting my cleric: Sprint + KD/KB.
DA for gang-bang (and to counter warlock).
1h for pure tank!
2h for kill!
Euro(Party) PvP is different from knowing when to use GSM. (After two heavy crits and a stun)

Then thats your problem man. OMG you couldnt learn how to PvP in 2 weeks. What does that say about you

I never thought of it that way...
I guess when you think about it the botters should be better at pvp since they probably do that more than normal players. 20 hours of botting, 4 hours of pvp. Which one are they actually doing with their hands?
And u kno they pvp that much. When you go to south dw, you see the same people over and over.

Most of the botters i know have at least one char lvl 80 and they know how to play it....after that they have tried other builds and the one that they liked the most- they put on bot...for the night, when they go to work....still they play with it 2-3 hours a day and they have experienced the legit way....
No, i'm not supporting botters, but that's what i have seen....90% of the botters have started as legits and have been legits for a long time....at least the ones i know...

botters are just cheaters so not much to get about that, as for you dying in pvp, make sure you got pots, snow sheild is useful, what clothes you are wearing matter more people do magic dmg then pure physical so most people say garments protectors tend to turn out well too armor will only do you good vs warrior/ rogues but the amount of physical defense is less then the increase of magic defense for picking garments, if you are a nuker remember you are easy to kill and as such should always be on the offensive since killing your oppenent first is your only real defense, knock back and stun skills are good too but depends what kind of nuker you are if you are sword/ sheild nuker you can take a little more abuse, spear lacks defense but has extra hp unless the charector just doesn't have the spear skills and is only holding the spear. YOu said you were used to a blader you were able to let yourself get hit first as blader an option a nuker isn't allowed so just keep in mind your weaknesses to try to over come them, play more aggressivally with a nuker and you'll do better.

Because you've already played the game normally or you read up on sites like these...

why do botters bot?
and how would they remain good at the game?
its simple: i know a lot of people who got into their 70s totally legit - and decided that grinding was a waste of time. you dont have to spend a week at one level to learn the skills for that level, only a day or two, which is how fast bots level up. bots dont spend less time learning their character, they spend less time leveling it up.
just a counter-argument here.
