hmm i always thought the highest + u can get in game was 10 but here it clearly shows +12

There is +14 in Xian

people say the highest + you can get is 255, I can't see why it couldn't techically go past 1000 though.

lol wish i had a sun +255 bow lvl 1 lol that would make ppl say wtf

Well, i saw that +14 sword with my own eyes must be he failed to +15 it

In theory it could go to +255, and not higher. Because joymax sends, and saves the + as an unsigned char. However the chance of getting a + higher than say +15 is extremely small.

reason for that is the + system uses hex code. so u can only get exponets of 16.
it goes like this 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a(10), b(11), c(12), d(13), e(14), f(15)
but for instnace theres that 72+13 sword on xian so getting +15 is actually possible though severely unlikely. so basically JM said we better make it so that if they decide to keep going itll get virtually impossible. 16^2 = 256. the reason we use 255 though is cus the 0 option actually takes up a spot. if u remember the dmg cap b4 euro was about 65k or so, it was also hex based. i think it was 16^4 though (cbf to do the math out right now).

That's ridiculous. That's almost like having a sun+0. A sun+15 would be sick.

I think this was also the time when people (hackers) increased their stat points, or HP ridiculously high, around 100k.

Yeah, and they'd grind on isyutaru. They'd spawn her right in front of them, hit her once, she'd die and they'd get so much xp, as well as good drops, but that made no difference to them because they could get as good gear as they wanted.

Some Turkish guy I believe made a +11 .. then a 12 .. then a 13 .. 14 sun glaive. Failed to o15 tho and quit.

I think on Eldorado guy named llo0oll something like that, cant remember the name corectly had honor SUN +13 or 14 and he failed trying to ++ more

There must be a secret of alchemy. There is no way someone could have 14 success in a row. Or at least a pattern of success :|

+14 had green/blue, same as +9

There someone on Aege that can make +9s consecutively.
You can ask him to make you a +9 weapon and he does it but he charges a lot for it.

Surprised he isn't using a lvl 80+9 already. Probably waiting for 85 first. But anyways he constantly makes +9s. I've asked him how he does it and he says he has a method that usually works. Its not luck based at all unless you do it randomly.

A union mate of mine uses the 5 second and up method. Its only good for making +7s only though. He hasn't figured out what the timing is for +8 yet. But the time increases a certain amount for every +. I've tried this method and it works.

Sounds like a nice scam. You give him your weapon and your gold! And he can't even +9 his own gear. <rolls eyes>

some of my old union members thought that luck in drops and alchemy were related
i used to get loads of drops but took me 12 elixers to get +1-+3
he could get +9 first try almost everytime and he used to get a drop like once every 2 or 3 monthes (hes 70 or something)

Not a scam. You don't give him your weapon.
You order it from him. He asks for price you give him a decent price and he makes it for you and trades it for that price. Hes not a scammer. He doesn't do gear btw only weapon. He says gear is tougher for him. For me gear is easier than weapon.
Hes a nice guy btw. He doesn't scam. I know him well enough to know its not a scam. Also that he has done this for people.

Like I said he probably is waiting for last tier to +9 weapon anyways.
