Your way of leveling after 60+
So lately I have stepped back into playing SRO here and there, and its been to start up again. Some of you may know that I have a lvl 60 rogue, and have had him since day 1 of euro. However, lately I have had trouble really getting a rhythm of grinding, and lvling him. I noticed that after the time of the x-bow buff that increases damage, I get around .7 to 1%. This is, of course, with out a premium, because I haven't bothered of thinking to get one. So I am asking you guys, after 60+ how long does it take you to gain each lvl?? Im trying to see if I am fast ( I already know im not
) medium, or slow. So, after this long, kinda pointless paragraph, how long does it take a person to get 1% to their next lvl??
Sorry for the rambling, im half asleep XD

Re: Your way of leveling after 60+
Depends on gap. Most people don't care much though. They just bot it up.
You will spend 99% of your time grinding, you just don't know it yet.
Re: Your way of leveling after 60+
If your thinking about coming back full time for the summer, and possibly getting a premium again, then I'm sure a few lvl 81+ wizards from PPC could spare some time helping you waste some of that ticket.
That is...until your within the level range to hold your own in our parties at generals and higher.

Im a glavier, 0 gap, no premium, lvl 58 grinding around 3 hours a day at mobs lvl62-64. I spend some time avoiding pty mobs too and it takes me a week to lvl up. I spend some time helping guild m8s, pvp, job, etc.
Have no idea how people lvl for 3 days

You have a 0gap?
Also, try to kill mobs 5lvls higher than you, you will be able to kill them before they get to you(if it arent fast ones lol).

Re: Your way of leveling after 60+
Just hand grind and if you can find a good party it will go faster.
I have a LV75, since LV52 I've had gaps of 0 to 9 and solo grind goes slower.

Re: Your way of leveling after 60+
I grind on snipers right now and I'm a 75 Crossbow with fully farmed Crossbow skills. No premiums or tickets, it takes me about 5-7 days to level up soloing.

Re: Your way of leveling after 60+
Considering xbow is one of the fastest leveling classes you should be able to level every few days. On my nuker I could level with ease every 2-3 days with premium. Leveling shouldn't be any problem until around 66 or 67 when there a exp dip which sawks.

Re: Your way of leveling after 60+
Well I'm 66 Cleric now ... and I go level only at Niya Guards (lv.73) mobs ... in 8 man party ... it goes fast really ... without ticket
But I got like 120% in one day ... That was like ... buff people , go afk , buff again ....

Re: Your way of leveling after 60+
After 64, i'd say join 8 man auto share parties and lvl up, it gives you alot more exp/sp than regular grinding

Re: Your way of leveling after 60+
Ya, I have a 2 gap, and kinda messed up on sp, I only have 5.3k?? Ya, its pretty bad. Ya, I think my problem is that im lvl 60 grinding at lvl 55 stuff, just because whey I turn on my x-bow buff, its harder for them to kill me. Maybe grinding on mobs a little above my lvl, but wont instantly kill me??

Re: Your way of leveling after 60+
You should grind above your level, or at least grind on yetis. The mobs you're fighting right now are green to you, as soon as a mob turns green, you get significantly less xp.
For instance, you're fighting a mob that's lv 57, to you, it's white, let's say you get 3000 xp per kill.
Now fight a lv 56, you will only get 2400 xp per kill. (made up numbers)
If you were fighting a lv 58, you would get only 3200 per kill, so as you see, the xp lost for fighting green mobs is significant.
However, it works the other way around too, if you're fighting a lv 60 mob, you'll get 3600 xp per kill, but if you fight a lv 61 mob, which is orange to you, you'll get 4200 xp per kill.
Secret to grinding on fast killers: Grind on orange mobs.
It's also best to find a good attack pattern that you can follow which is perfect on certain mobs, what this means is:
If you can kill a lv 61 in longshot + power shot (sorry, I never got to a high level on a euro char, so I don't know any higher level attack names), that's good.
BUT! If you're able to kill lv 63 mobs in longshot+power shot as well, might as well grind on them right? It's the same thing as fighting the lv 61's, but this way you're getting ~400xp per kill more.
Also, another grinding tip is to not fight party mobs, and unless you're able to do it, don't fight giants. Usually giants can kill euros if they're soloing. I've heard a good tactic for fighting giants is to take off your "suicide" buff (crossbow extreme). If this really is a good idea, then here's a small trick to help maximize damage.
On these lv 63 mobs (we're still in the same example here), you're able to kill one with longshot and powershot before they even reach you, so the trick to fighting a giant mob is tos tart longshot, hit zerk, then do powershot, and THEN take off crossbow extreme, this way, you just got significantly more damage out of 2 attacks than you would have if you took off crossbow extreme right away. It's also good to have good reflexes however, like powershot can knockback enemies, so if you successfully knock back the giant, then you can afford to get another hit in there before taking off crossbow extreme.
I also know crossbows are able to knockdown the enemy, so try knocking down the giant before he gets to you, then you can use crossbow extreme.
On that note, another tactic that might work is after the giant reaches you, then try to knock him down as much as possible (as well as knockback, but knockdown especially), and as soon as you get him knocked down, throw up crossbow extreme and do a move that can hit the mob while he's knocked down, after this move is finished, take off crossbow extreme again and continue to fight.
The best part about this tactic is if you're lucky enough to score a crit with crossbow extreme on, you just knocked off like 12 seconds of giant battle time
Good luck dude, hopefully what I said made sence.
