i know no 1 would know until 20th May...but according to past bonus exp events, usually how many hr of 100% bonus exp would it be?
1 week of event, 3hr 100% bonus exp each day?

That would be nice. But arent capture the flag event is coming now?

is this gonna be like everday at the same time then one region of players are screwed cuz they are at school or sleeping at the time

Not so long ago .
But they will add Capture the flag event again, that will be Event 1 as they saying on website http://www.silkroadonline.net/teaser/roc_update/event.asp
Event 2 will be addition exp and sp points.

They have never done anything like that, the last time any exp even was double exp was I think Christmas a couple years ago, since Sro was hacked, and it was all day 24/7 until the vent ended.

Since then the highest they have done is 50% I think, and most of em have been like 20-30% compensation events.

And yes CTF is coming it says on the site.

Yes yes, I remember one of that event when they increased drop rate 100% and exp 50%. That was long time ago, really long.

Those were the days, almost no ks'ing bots and high drop rate = return scroll every 30 minutes because inventory was full of drops; it was like; OMG, again full :p

i think 1 year + ago lol, thats when i started sro for few months
its a compensation event if i'm not wrong...i think there was a sudden server inspection then which lasted for a few days
so they needed a nice compensation to appease all players

now you can hardly go to buwangs without getting dc becasue there is so many bots there. xD

I got my first sos drop off a gold bot(back before they didnt pick them up) and then 2 sos drops of my own. Was great a great event.

But back then the compensation event was all day with the rates increased. I assume it'll be the same, but this time maybe 20% exp increase.

Whoever is saying 3 hours a day 100% increase has no idea what they're talking about -_-

My guess is either 20% increase or 30% increase, it's going to be for a month too I think. They'll first be like "It's only 1 week (or 2 weeks" but they're gonna forget about it and we'll get a month of it I think.

xp events are always nice, the extra xp is only alittle bit noticable though, so people usually don't go crazy with grinding. If it was a 100% increase, the severs would have 4000/3000 people in them -_-

Dam you have really good memory, yes it was compensation event I remember now.

So if you have a premium plus, which gives 100% bonus exp for 5 hours, you will also get the 10/20/30/40/50% exp bonus or whatever it may be from the event? May be a dumb question, but it's the first time I've had a premium and they might do an exp bonus event while I have it.

The last time we had a major event was when the server had to roll back 1 day I think because a special someone.

Chaud found out a way to dupe gold.

I think the event was like 30% increase for 2 weeks I beleive and drop rate was pretty high.

So no one on those forums ever took part in a xp/sp increase event which was not an compensation event?

I was not there at previous cap increases, i'm wondering if they already did this? And what was the bonus?

But if they give a bonus which is effective all the time (no hours limit) that would means a lot even its if 25%. Imagine people getting powerfarmed 24/24 already getting 20-30k sp in 1 day, now they get close to 40k?

My guess is that we will have a time limit just like on tickets. Else full time botters gonna again gain the most.

They know what they doing. They will open rock mountain and set two events, CTF and exp/sp event so server will be totaly crowded.
-all lvl80 chars want to lvl as faster as posible to lvl90
-everybody want to go to Rock Mountain to se how it look like, monsters etc...
-everybody want to go to CTF event, problably reward will be 9D lucky stones (on last CTF event reward was been 8D lucky stones) and they will be veryyy expensive
-and of course exp/sp event, why not use that chance to lvl faster
-and probably low lvl chars will have chance to hunt uniques, becouse all lvl 80 who camping now on low lvl unique will go to shaitan and also they will go to lvling

So server probably will be totaly crowded so a lot of player would buy premium. Harder to login = more premiums = more $$$ to joymax.
