Garm or Prot for 9D?

Post by huejas »

Dunno if i should stay garm or go prot on my full str bower.
I think the purple garms are pretty ugly (female are nice though) and the prot is pretty nice, so if it comes down to look wise its prot for sure.
As for stat wise, im gonna 100% blue and +5.
So what should i go with?

Looks just "looks" nice, but it's not gonna keep you alive.
I'd stay with garment because of the extra speed, decreased MP consumption and the mag def / phys def ratio in comparison with your build...

It looks a lil bit like the d5 prot. At least the shoes do.
The garment set looks more exclusive than the prot set.

If you're bow and you are solo grinding I'd say garms - you shouldn't get hit a whole lot and the speed/mana consumption is a great bonus. As for PvP..it's always nice to have two sets for every situation.

So do I. ppl say belly shirt is gay, but what about a dress :?
Belly shirt is just showing off his hard abs 8) I'd go prot just because you prolly won't be nuked to death at 90 anyway.

I'd say garms just because the protector chest piece isn't all nice looking with the ensemble as a whole. But since you're Pure Str, I'd say go garms....speed and mp consumption reduction boost are worth it.

Fixed, typo's and all.

And the answer is "Yes" to every male wearing devil wings. Look closely at the legs, you'll see stockings.

wih cold at 60 im gonna need the mp consumption bonus, and with light at only 60 im gonna need teh extra 20% speed...with that said i think garment is the obvious choice for me now

9deg garment looks much much better than 9deg protector, male set offcourse. Protector really looks gay.
