SRF cannot and will not support any server run by a company which sells bots and gold. We will not EVER condone a private server which allows you to buy silk which lines the pockets of those who have destroyed the official servers.

pcsro was run by gold/bot sellers therefore they (referring to MHTC) aided in the destruction of iSRO and we (SRF) do not condone the distribution of such malicious "data" such as links to their gold buying website. We do not want to help those who destroyed and still are destroying iSRO make a profit, now a Legit server is a slightly different matter .

Silo you misunderstood. Destroy was the key term that tied it all together: Do they sell gold on iSRO? No, do they sell bots on iSRO? No. Did cpsro sell gold on iSRO? Yes, by buying silk from cpsro and allowing links to cpsro it would mean gold buying support which translates to: Bot Support. Buying silk from a gold selling company gives them enough fuel to bring more gold into the economy. If they restricted selling gold to their own server and didn't promote bots for their own server, it would be a different story.

The no dc client for ECSRO is made by ECSRO. Draq got it from their official forum. They made it for their own server. If they want it, they should be able to make it. It is against the rules of iSRO to use programs and altered software on THEIR version.

They sell gold and silk items on THEIR OWN SERVER. They do not affect iSRO at all. They are not gold sellers here, they merely sell their own gold. They do not sell silk here, there are selling their own silk. SG didnt want the pSRO one waved about because the ppl who ran it were gold sellers for iSRO. These are obviously different ppl.

It's pretty simple and not that complicated. Quit trying to make a federal case out of nothing.

BTW: If SG wants to delete any posts I have made regarding ECSRO, Im ok with that. It's his forum to Admin, not mine. I completely respect his rules (*winks at SG* In theory).

Its not an advantage if the client is freely available to all Ecsro players and they may download if they so choose, therefore no one is at a disadvantage. You don't even need the no-d/c client to log in because the game doesn't immediately d/c you. In Ecsro there is no advantage, while in Isro because of that bloody captcha there is an advantage. MHTC was a gold selling company, we already went through this nuclear. We were not aware of the status of Ecsro so we just followed protocol and nuked on sight.

I installed it and added the correct media.pk2 now if I start the game I get the following error:

Failed to execute Silkroad: error code 2

How can I solve this ?

Nuclear just likes to stir the pot. The current status quo was doing everyone just fine. He just loves to make trouble.

If SG wanted to just ban the whole pserver thing, Id understand. Altho I think that banning Nuclear would prolly be a simpler solution and would solve more than one problem. But that is just me.
