Don't you love it when people pluralize words that aren't meant to have a plural ending? Like: Silks Golds & others?
Just thought I'd share with you my fascination.

When people spell "lose" as "loose" makes me want to smack a donkey. But, instead I smack a picture of a donkey on my monitor.

I remember in Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast the game, there was a scene on Nar' Shada in a bar where you talk to some guy that puts an 'S' on every 2nd word. It was kinda funny.. I will try to find a video.
Adding 'ly' to everything bugs me. And saying something twice to show you meant it does as well.
O Rly? Rly.
Fer sure? Yep.
Fer sure, fer sure? Okay enuf of dat.
Inappreciatively offered.

My guess? Canadian Goose because that is their name? Again, guessing, but the rules of "proper grammar" do not include the naming of birds as that would be so foul.
OnTopic: I am a major (flagrant) offender and slaughter the proper use of the English language almost casually now, but do agree about plurals. CD's, PC's, even car's. Okay, seriously, car's?!?! Pleural/Plural: <cough> Let's at least get that one out of the way. Per MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia, your body produces pleural fluid in small amounts to lubricate the surfaces of the pleura, the thin membrane that lines the chest cavity and surrounds the lungs.
"When will people remember that apostrophes are for contractions and ownership?" You'll find me doing the CD's / PC's thingy all the time as acronyms "look" better tht way (to me).
My challenge to you, Cidem. Use the word - its' - (its followed by an apostrophe) properly in any sentence of your choosing. "Google=cheat "

Well, english is not as easy as you think. Especially for the ones who use it as 2nd language. I try my best, but make many grammar mistakes and formal defects.

Lol, I've never heard that before, but I've heard "pot" used instead of "bot".
One time a turk was like 'Are you potting?', I said "Yup". And he was like "I am will report you!"
I also don't like it when people say "90 gap", it's CAP!!! Not gap!
Also, yeah, I hear turks say "mens" alot, even when it's only one person they're talking to.

Insightful question?
Many ppl are ESL and some are tertiary linguist with English as their third language. Me? Only one and that poorly at best. Props to the illiterate (so-called)
But being an old man I plan on advancing through the six (6) stages of my old man future:
Cranky
Cantankerous
Crusty
Curmudgeon
Coot
Codger
Dead
It's like anything else; all good things to those who wait.

I know what you mean having played on the China Team (in another game) for a couple years. We typed 'What a hell??' or 'wat a hell???' because those who are native speakers of Eng (self included) slur their pronunciation often. "Wa da Hell?" <~~~~ sounds like
Each time I post I find myself pushing the [EDIT] button ½ doz. times b4 giving up and letting my mistakes slide.
