I was wondering, how strong does your bow have to be in order to one hit a bandit (not archer)?

-i mean without imbue nor the use of skills, just the plain arrow itself.

EDIT: with the fact of being pure str with clean gear.

Without skill or imbue at lvl 16:
Probably a SOM +5 or better.

Back in the days i used to farm without imbue but with skills... sos bow

assuming your lvl 16, i would say a sun bow +7 or +9.

1 hit? 1 skill easy with som bow but if u mean with 1 arrow and no imbue or skill it will be 2 arrows to kill even with sun+7 just get powerfarmed no point going to goldbot den lol

well i dont have/know anyone who can plvl me at ongs, and im not rich to pay for it,plus i dont really like it unless its free. i was only thinking of the bandit den since its low lvl, easy to farm since no one is really there (inside of the den nor outside). and i remember me 1 hitting some bandits with imbue with a som bow. i mean wouldnt it be kool to one hit bandits without wasting mp, therefore i save loads on pots. and i was only wondering lol.

EDIT: if someone would love to make a pure str lvl 16 char with a som/sun bow and test out the dmg with just the arrow (with no gear either), i would love that honestly.

u can only really 1 hit with imbue non skill as a pure int never unskilled and no imbue as a pure str

thats not true, that are some ppl with amazing gear and its totally possible, just dont kno anyone who really did it lol.

the gold bots and botter guildes bring many a SOX weapon ashore, but you'd have to increase your stats extremely, like get buffs or delevel from a high lvl

My Best guess on this would be to get a Sun 16 bow level to lvl 30 then de lvl back to 16
you have the strengh of a 30 and the EXP of a 1x Xd

thats wat i did when i was farming on athens, helped me alot since i could just imbue+one hit them and they die plus they respawned every second lol.

i had like 3 som bows and i was happy farming there since i only brought arrows and went to town to repair the three bows when i used them all.

Sun is like way over the top.
a sos +5<-- or more than that is good to go. Having any som and you'll be the pwnzor in there. If you have a sun better then.

to 1 hit them as a pure str, you need to get to lvl 40, then delvl.
then get a sun+7, and youll get pretty close. Assuming no imbue or skills.

lol ya on bandit archers you could do that, but i would like to see anyone one hit a bandit without using an imbue or skill

I'm currently farming and my items are mostly full int/str except my accesory, i have a som bow +3 and i 1 hit archer WITH imbue, once in a while i have to shoot them twice so i think you will need what this guy said


To most replys made here.. he means bandits.. NOT ARCHER
