Is that considered botting? I'm not sure.

It's considered just as bad, the only thing different from not botting yourself is its not your bot, but a program is still lvling you so basically, it's botting.

Well, technically your not running any 3rd party programs or anything so I think it's fine.

Uh no? You're just exploiting a loophole. You aren't legit for being powerleveled by a bot.

i dont know. im meaning the people being powerleveled. cause out of the people who plvl them, one of them is bound to be a botter and even if its just 1. its the same

Ok....I had the same issue with p lvling...I didn't see any pts in the system...so I decided to buy an hour of power leveling...the person was in a botting guild..I have no evidence that he bots and it's just a high percentage that he does (lv 70), but when I was there, he was using teleport, ressing the noobs who died, talking to us, and smart use of AoEs...I payed 500k for 1 hr. and he wasn't botting during the time...yet people from the union accused me of bot support...I don't see how this is not allowed..it's still 1 hour of grinding done by him to make some cash

Do you WANT the bots to stay on Venus?

If you dont, then dont pay them and make it nice for them. paying a bot for PL is the same as buying gold. You dont buy gold cause it makes the gold bots stay and ruins the market. Same with paying a bot to PL you. You are inviting them to stay.


and no, not everyone gets PLed by bots.

Being plvled by a bot or being plvled by a legit is still the same. You go AFK while something else levels your character.... same difference to me, neither should be accepted.

Also another funny side note i love botters who make euros and pfarms then plvls their char to lvl 72 with over 400k sp, then party grind to lvl 80 and claim to be legit. Hilarious.

i am, got p0werleveld by hand by some1 who did get botted but he doesnt have a bot program and i was not in the party with the botter and it was only for 2 levels (51~52 and 60~61) hf.

90% of anyone thats ever been plvled have most likely been plvled by a bot. Buying plvl is just buying a bot with gold. Most plvl for money plvlers are bots. For example the bots in caves, ongs etc... They just wait till the party is filled and come back whenever they need to collect more money from someone.
If you don't consider this legit then a lot more people are not considered legit anymore. It cuts down the number of legits by nearly half.

i was in a party with someone and no one would join so they logged onto there lvl 66 nuker that they said someone gave it to them. so i was getting plvl when nopoll said they were a bot :o!! i didnt want to get kicked from the guild so i went back to the city and acted liked i dced. but i mean they were talking not acting like a bot at all then they said fly punched them lol i think this is something everyone needs to talk about.

I was kinda wondering how a lot of ppl say you can get like 500k sp from a month of pure plvling. I got bored of it the second day and had crap sp still...

ThugLife from Odin did nothing but plvl his newb at ongs from lvls 18-30 with a constant 9 gap, when u hit lvl 30 delvl down to lvl 18, over and over for 2 weeks. He booted. in 2 weeks time he had 425k SP. he know brags and globals how he has 1 000 000 donated GP in his guild. its too bad his guild (HypnotiZe) is shitty and get owned by every one.

But not everyone even gets powerlvld.

I've never been powerlvl, and grinded to 80 without bots, i'm sure i'm not the only one too.

you not doing anything and get exp

The difference is that power-leveling is game mechanics and the bot program isn't.

It's basically asking someone to make money for you illegally, without you getting your hands dirty. Do you see that immorally wrong? If so, then being power-level by a bot should be also considered immorally wrong.

From my standards, bot power-leveling is wrong.

i dun like plvling one bit, even if u get plvled by legit, u'r still making no effort.

it's not illegal, and it's not botting, but i frown upon ppl who do get plvled.

A few months ago I hit 80, though i've been playing sro for a couple years, and no thats not grinding 24/7 by far, I DO do other things, it is easy to make it to 80 without any of those, just cus it takes time doesn't mean its impossible. I was Lv75 before powerlvling was even possible in sro >.>.

GOLD bots are a big problem in this game, if players didn't buy gold their would be no market for them and no GOLD bots . The gold buyers cause a lot of the botting problems, just like players getting plvl by bots are a big part of the cheating in this GAME.

so regular plvl is cheating? I thought it was just taking advantage of a game feature That's why they made it so there is a limit on what lvl of mobs start giving less xp.
