Reminds me of botters calling me no-life when they spend nearly 24/7 babysitting their characters. Not to forget when they say I'm a rotten teenage living in parent's basement grinding 15 hours a day to reach cap faster than them. And yeah, the pride of botters is fail.

Something I don't get about the whole "I have a life, therefore I bot" line that bots throw is if a person has a life then why does it matter how high of a level they are in a game especially if they have no intention of playing the game the way it's intended to be played.

Jeeze botters have no idea what this game is about.

It's about wasting pointless hours to get the next degree.

It's about feeling a sense of acomplishment that you have created a character with your own hands.

It's about learning that you will never be able to pass botters.

It's about trying to thief/hunt/kill uniques and not being able to because a high level botter is there that will always be better than you.

Please. I'm sure that some botters are idiots, but the majority I know - I love.

Well... you do? Because Its kinda hard to belive to get lv.80 in 2 months when you grind less than 10 hours / day ... How long did you in Hera / Avalon grind per day?

EDIT: at Mousetrap +1 ... I think too much people have wrong picture about botters , yeah some turks brag about..."No life shit" ... but most of the botters I know are perfectly normal people and most of them would never say that what you wrote (Topic Starter)

it took Avalon close to 4 months, don't group em in with the herans

actually, botting does make alot more sense.

while botting, they can go chill with friends, see a movie, whatever they want. while we legits sit on our asses spamming 1,2,3,4 on our keyboards 100,000 times to get one lvl up.

I mean ... anything that is 5 hours ++ per day ...is sick really ... I mean I have hardly any time for playing ... I spend about 8 hours in school ... Usually I stay on coffee to hang with friends atleast 2 hours everyday (after school or before school) - that is 10 ...
I sleep atleast 8 hours - That is 18...

So I have like 6 hours for studying or going outside or playing silkroad or stuff...
I dont want to spend 5 hours just playing the game ... I mean lol
Leaving me 1 hour for perfectly normal stuff , going to shoping , some sport or stuff ...
Or going somewhere with girlfriend ... comeon lol ...

So then if you want to avoid all those things, why bot? What is the goal? What are you trying to achieve by botting? What do you mean by activity? You're generalizing Legits and you're generalizing botters. Using the computer is an activity, simply being awake coins the term "active." You want to have a life but you don't want to "waste" time playing a game, so why bot at all? Playing the game with your hands is the whole goal, they made the game with that purpose in mind. Really what is the goal, the point of botting? To have 5 level 80s in a game you don't like, or care for? So in theory didn't you waste your money? And if this game is so important why do you want any level 80s in the first place? If you saw the game was to much of a grind for you to handle why not quit and move on?

"OMG ~ a high level killed my character, I'm going to take this extremely seriously, act like its a big deal, and bot so I can get my revenge on that high level. Later I will rationalize my actions by saying I have a life" ~ Yeah, I'm calling your bullshit.

Now to actually tackle your argument:
"Botting helps your health" ~ How can you make this conclusion? Are you saying all Legits are over unhealthy and botting by some miracle made them healthy or are you saying that botting is an excuse for people with no self-control. After 2 years of playing this game I now have an image of what a botter is:
