Question to glaiver

I notice that u always spam stun and dull skill, and i u rarely use ghost spear. How come?
As far as i know, ghost spear is the best skill of heuksal.

I'm not Glavier but I can tell you this from my experience on PvPing with Glavier and having Glavier guild mates.

Ghost Spear: They are fast but have slightly delay after it's used
They say it does nearly same amount of dmg as other main heuksal skills but if you practise and use it every time, you will see that it has less Attack Rating (Less likely to hit the max dmg, thus less dmg)
They are good for Nukers, Nuke--->quick use Ghost Spear to finish it off
Their Knockback cancels any skills

ghost spear is for finish. there are ppl swearing on knockback of ghostspear to cancel attacks. but i prefer spawning sss and sss for stun, windless spear for dull and ghost spear to finish off, since it takes pretty much hp away instantly. works best on full str chars, if it crits (like 10k+).

As Jescar said, it has a delay after using it, and when maxed at 80, Windless spear does more dmg, AND adds dull. Soul Spear Soul and Emperor also deal more dmg. All ghost spear has is knock back, but by the time the delay after using the skill is up you would already be face to face to your pvpee.

i usually use it to finish them or knock them back if I have low hp..

pvp doesnt last long for me anyway... unless they are full sun bladers

Normaly wat i do is Soul spear emp and Windless until i get dull then switch to Soul spear emp and Soul spear Soul until i crit then throw a Ghost spear at them but yea Ghost spear is simply a finishing skill its a quick skill and its a really powerfull attack if you crit with a ghost spear you crit HARD but the down effect of the ghost spear is if you don't kill them they have time to repot since after you use it you can't follow up with a skill right away

im not sure what delay ur talking about but the animation length of ghost spear is 2.8s and soul is the same or more. Ghost spear effect % probability is the highest, if it crit it will hurt very much. And u'll never know when is the best time to finish someone off.

NuclearSilo, I think the argument with you fighting against Soul Spear and Dull can be easily cancelled by Dutchy's answer. He is Glavier and he knows how to get best out of his skills.

soul spear and windless are used more in pvp as opposed to ghost spear because although ghost spear stops their attack (by knockback) your delayed as well cause you either have to walk towards them or wait for them to come towards you. and obviously, their pots are going off at that time.

when it comes to stun and dull you completely stop(or slow down) their attack while being able to attack them.

IMO i only use ghost spear if i crit and think i can finish it with the blow.

You are right but there is a style on how people play and use their skills in PvP. People intend to argue a lot, just because their play style is different from each other. Either way, find your unique way to battle and find it on your own.

Sometimes, It depends on how your weapon is! If you have high critical, or high physical damage %.

Ghost mars suck if it didn't knock back the enemy, that delay time can get you stuck in stun and you just an open target where they can finish you off quick. Only use when your HP is halfway, using when you almost die is like playing Russian Roulette, if you knocks back good, if not, your dead.

Its mainly used as a finisher move because recovering from it is extremely slow. Also spamming Ghost spear is probably the stupidest things I see many glaivers do. Its too slow to spam. After the first GSM it takes around 3 seconds for the PSM to launch. Its usually a good move to do when you crit someone with another move. Constant use of GSM is actually really bad. A lot of glaiver use SSE then straight to GSM which really doesn't work well.

It's simple really..

You can't pot out of soul spear emporer and windless spear forever, and eventually you'll die from inability to pot out - granted the glaiver doesn't get stunned/slowed/knocked down/ect. You can chain together emporer and windless very nicely, but when you add in mars there is a huge delay after the hit. If the opponent doesn't die he can spam lots of potions in that time..

Easy way to test it - take a character (80 fully farmed decent gear) without a shield, and spam emporer then mars. You probably won't kill it~ then try using emporer -> windless a few times with a final mars and you probably will kill it.

Typically spear users throw in mars to knock the opponent back to get a nuke off. Glaivers only use it to finish.
