Greetings to all legit Troy players,

Considering the success on Venus I've been checking the Troy servers for similar activity. There are several guilds active currently in the murder of bots, and the setting of bot traps. I'd like to propose setting up a similar construction to the Venus situation, starting with 24/7 bottraps, and following up with spending time to make bots' lives miserable. Would anyone be interested in helping me align all the legit guilds towards this purpose?

well, on troy it might get hard, bottraps always get killed sooner or later by random ppl....

last time we were doing it, it became like a whole jobwar lolz, we were killing the bots, they dint want us to xD "it will make the gold prices go up"

Why though? The gold bots aren't gonna disappear and it just lags up dw =( I guess its somethin' to do if your bored though lol XD

I don't know about anyone else, but it seems kind of pointless to me.

They'll still come back, and they'll still be getting gold.

It's a very temporary solution to a seemingly endless problem.

The idea of 24/7 of course is that hardly any gold bots will ever be able to leave town. The idea is to disrupt the business of gold sellers in such a way that it is more economical for them to take their business elsewhere than to stay on Troy.

Which wouldn't happen anyway though.

Goldbots will always be here, make friends with them now.

Yeah the gold companies so don't bot in the other servers.

How effective are they gonna be when their bots are deleveled lower then their weapons? you can hurt them enough for them to focus somewhere else more yes. Less gold they make, prices higher for buyers, less people buying, less inflated prices down the line.

Instead of telling others how little they can effect things, try doing something yourself

Theres a flaw in that.

When gold selling companies first appeared it was around 1$/mil, if not more. People would pay 100$ for 100mil. Enough people were buying that the companies realized they were making a good profit, so they increased their gold bots until we got what we have now. Greedy 12year olds who steal their parents credit cards dont care how much they are paying, they'll pay it. So theres really not less people buying... =/

Haha, besides you can't do that in most servers (well, at least babel, but I'm sure more too). Some douche or turk will come and kill you and the npc. lol
