I know that if your weapon is equiped that you cannot drop it no matter what. So is it possible to drop your shield if its equiped but yu die/get murderer or w.e???

Yes you can drop a shield. I remember a while back I managed to give someone murderer with the job desuit trick when someone summons mercenaries in job suit. When I killed him he dropped his shield which I gave to a guildmate.

I have dropped my shield when I was taking murder stat off last time. Good thing I got it back after.

any1 know what the %ages are for droppign things?

You can drop ANYTHING when you die normaly, even your weapon, even if its equipped, the only time you can't drop anything is in murderer status, you cant drop your weapon.

Bullshit, you can NEVER drop your weapon when its equipped, you can drop anything else but that.

Dark is right you can drop it if you die from normal death.

No.. anything can drop. My guildmate was lvling at mages when a botter died and dropped her 5+ spear.

I have never heard of anyone dropping weapons that they were using...if you cant drop it in pk then why could you drop it from dying from a mob.

yes you can drop a weapon, think of it this way, you only have a 5% chance of dropping something when you die normally, and out of all your gear (not including your inventory) you have a 9% chance of your weapon droping, the odds of it happening are like winning the lottery but it does happen, my guild mate dropped his spear in the ravine back when we were lvl 35(1 1/2 years ago).

strange thing is i did talk to one of the gold bot companies on babel, they delevel their bots with weapons equipped rest naked shield also in storage and the answer was there is no way your weapon will drop if you die normally or from murder, i imagined they would know it since they run so many clients.

my cleric friend droped a shield at penons when she died.
so its posible

I don't see why can't an equipped weapon drop when you are in murder status.. I mean.. Shield drops so I don't see why wouldn't a sword or a spear drop. But then again... chance to drop is really low.

I guess Joymax doesn't wanna completely screw you, cus ya know if you don't wanna die it off you could still go kill things.

I dropped my shield in a guild war vs our own union leader guild, but ok I got it back
