since I'm a rogue, I love my poison skills, even if it seems like they don't do much, so I was wondering, with vein weapons + poison power up, what's the highest damage poison can get to with the current cap?

I saw a vid recently, that had something like 554 a tick, which would be awesome ^_^

Depends on the gear from the one you are fighting..and the lvl of your skills

guess I should've mentioned, I'm a PvE player, not a PvP one, so resistances don't matter

if u try on mangyang, and with a dagger (using that lvl 40 att), and debuffing, u will hit over 400k crits ^_^. dont know wat poison power up is .

It gives you a poison imbue which can give poison to someone/thing (like fire imbue gives burn)..

And I really don't know..I would say...try it

I'm only lvl 74 at the moment, and I'm looking to the highest dmg per tick with poison.

And poison power-up is a passive for the poison SKILLS which increases the dmg and duration or poison.

A rogue's poison is the only effect that Holy Word can't protect against, as far as I know

Its under 500 damage every 4~5 seconds (maxed skills at generals). I would check for you if I could login, but I cant.

And after getting Vein Weapon, my poison ticks for 494, and with the last level, of Poison power-up (with this cap) granting a +50 to dmg, the max is 544 ^_^

Side note : Holy word doesnt protect from wheel bind, nor dull

Holy word also can't resist freeze.. it's hard to quantify how much damage per second poison really does. but it surely does higher damage if it is of higher lvl just like burn.

Poisons a waste of SP. It doesn't increase damage, just gives a status that can be pilled off. PvE ? You 1 hit mobs with extreme on anyways. I hit 18k at snipers, no point for poison? Poison blows

I don't use poison when I'm solong with xbow, I use poison when I'm using daggers and fighting a giant. poison helps more than you think. Plus, it's fun to see tons of mobs poisoned running around.

Though like many rogue skills, poison is situational, it's not something you'll be using a ton. but I found a nice way to use the poison skills:

When luring, after you have a good amount of mobs on you and you run back to the group, set a poison trap, imbue your xbow and start rapid shotting. It's a cool sight, trust me ^_^

And even though i don't PvP, i know a lvl 80 rogue with maxed imbue and poison power-up has too high of an effect status (258) for one pill to remove, so the person would be ticked at least twice for poison, and for some people, who have won fight's with under 100 hp left, with a Rogue, that won't happen, that 100 hp would be taken by poison while the rogue finishes that person off.

IMO, if used correctly, poison is the rogue's most dangerous weapon, if nothing else, it'll suck your pills empty, then your screwed

Is Poison worth it for Giants and PvP for XBow only?
