Alright...back in the day I used to run the Oasis server with Billion as the most powerful SoS geared character (SoS+11 spear and full SoS everything else). Doubt any of you remember.

I'm taking a look now because I'm interested in participating in the game once more, so I have a couple slightly debatable questions for you all.

European or Chinese? I took a quick gander over many threads and I notice that the Europeans are being called overpowered. Now because I used to be a Chinese character, I wanted to stay one. In the future, do you think the Chinese will be more balanced (With the 90 patch)? I want the absolute strongest class and character.

Which server is ultimately the most eventful? In the past it used to be Xian.

I also noticed that gold is now...much higher, why? I'm not sure how many of you remember this, but there was a group that successfully duped millions of gold and bought out most stalls. Did this cause SRO to enter a steady inflation? I remember I had 2 mil back in the day and everyone believed I was the richest man on SRO....now having 100 mil is nothing.


Lastly, any of you great characters play World of Warcraft? I own an undead warlock that's fully geared with the best possible PvP gear in the game, with all works. I think I'm willing to trade my WoW account for a very geared SRO account.

nobody has duped any more since than that I know of. Goldbots are responsible for the inflation of the ecomony

As for character, whatever tickles your fancy. As for most powerful etc. sorry, but I'll always be better. always. *sigh* it's a fact just get used to it.

Never was on Oasis but i do remember you.

Best server as of now = Venus
Currently 3 Legit Unions Kicking bots asses on a daily basis
Avalon(TheEmpire from Xian) BHA from Xian, and Odyssey, PureEntity(from Greece) just joined venus so Im hoping they will be the 4th legit union:) No player bots ruling the server. Fun fortress wars and such. So ya, imo Venus is the best right now, and will be for .

Chinese or Euro
Well that depends on what style of gameplay you like. You might wanna give a euro character a try and then decide for yourself. Euro is 99% party play and or lvling together(Lvling very fast). And well chinese, you know, solo all the way.

And yes nightbloom is still here, shes leading Avalon with Fly in venus.. Well hope that helped a little. Hopefully more people post to point out stuff that I didn't kinda late here.

The most 'legit' eventful server seems to be Venus. However, none of those new servers seem to be 'fun' as such, atleast I find it that way.

Prices were at a low, now they're almost high. However with the teaser of Legend III coming out, the prices dropped a lot for sun / som, and sos pretty much remains the same.

First, regarding server, Oasis will be very pleased to have u back, there are still ppl talking about the legend Billion, and still many of the ppl that was there in ur time.
Second, bout character, is true that euro builds have high dmg , but euro have a crazy big delay on potions, and is really sux, u cant train on mobs of ur lvl, and u cant pvp alone.
Euro chars are made for group pvp, i mean u need to have a cleric to give u buffs and heal.
Chinese chars are more funny, and a good glavier or swordman can tank with success any alone euro char.

1) welcome back:)
2) only chinese whiners says that euro are overpowered, if you know how to play ur char well, and know how to team work (european is based on teamwork mostly) you'll have no special problem beating euros.
3) Xian is now shit, full of player bots, no one to speak to, no one to pvp except some casual player bots.
4)yes, inflation is bad as hell, even 100 mil is like pocket money for the upcoming 90 cap.

WB. I suggest you go euro, you wont regret it. They're actually fun and not useless in wars unlike chinese characters.

Even if others find that Xian sucks..I Xian, the server sucks with log in and amount of bots and assholes, but still I wouldn't want to change servers ^_^

Best server too start on is Venus..If you wanna go unlegit, go any server
