wich way would be the more efficient to sp farm on a new server?

A: 0 gap a wizard/cleric to lvl 60 and powerfarm yuor real char at ong when there is no one around.

B: 2 gap your char with 1 mastery then farm at 80 with 9 gap on general party.

C: 6 gap all the way to the cap.


I think it should be A, but how long would it take? getting to 60 on new server is kinda hard, then you have to powerfarm yourself, wich cost kinda alot of money. Then after you'll be 0 gapping so gaining new degree pretty fast and not alot of money.

B would probably take longer, but would allow to accumulate money and good gear once cap reached, on the other hand the char would be weaker since it'll stay 9 gapped for a long long time...

C seem a bit crazy, would take forever, but would be farmed for any cap.


any opinion or advice? might try myself on gaia, school almost over, got shitload of free time

option A is too expensive for a new server... It costs you millions and millions of gold to powerfarm a char. And since you dont have a source of income at ongs, it will probably not work. (unless you buy gold which is not allowed...)

personally i would go for B, cuz i dont think anybody can handle option C without going crazy and wanting to quit

Option A would take soo much longer, as you have to lvl it to 60, then make a new char and farm that char holy shit. i could probably be 80 by then.

Just 2-3 gap your char to 80 if you needsome more sp just do the curst heart quest and farm it.

Option A requires the most time/money, but the amount of SP you can get... It's just godly.
So if you're seriously planning to lvl that char to 80 or 90 or even more - I say choose A. You'll regret not doing that when you're like 70lvl counting every skill point

If you plan to farm anything more than 300k SP i would highly suggest A. I did it myself, and it works wonder. You just have to be really patient, since leveling a char to 60 to powerfarm another char is easier said than done.

Be sure to conserve on money, since a 6o wiz at ong does not have any drop, be it money or item. Also, consider goign to 64, since you cant one hit a ong with firebolt/frozen spear at 60 ( even with LC on ) unless you have a really nice staff ( +5,6,7). With 64 staff you could, with LC on.

Alternatively, you could play a Wiz, and earn some money along the way. When you have got a good source of income, hire someone to plvl you, and have fun with the Wiz and farm item at the same time. When you've reached the needed sp, use the Wiz to powerlevel the char up, or do some extra powerfarm.

B. You'll get lots of money if you're farming at higher levels.
Option A will take least time though.

Well it doesn't have to be a 60lvl wiz. 52 lvl would do just fine

well option B and planning to go about it by 52...^^

Go B, except change that to a Lv69 character with a 9 gap at Generals, then reap in the SP.

im really not sure, I was planning to farm for the whole warrior tree, wich cost like 720k sp at lvl 80 then another 300-400k for second mastery :S and I would also like to be ready for 90 cap <_<

what's the higher lvl u still get drop from ong? might get my wizard there, then it would pay my powerfarm :s

Ok, i wouldn´t take "A" if ur in new server...

Little explain i got already 68lv char with (100m gold) , and started pfarm new euro char at ongs.

Euro char is now at 42lv with like 100k sp (still farming at sonars)

I got about 50m left so if ur poor and try lv quick there´s no change to use that way on new server.

And i used to buy only pots with that lost 50m. And u would have to buy gears and new weaps with wiz if u wanna stay alive.

since everyone already gave reason for 1 and 2, ill just say 3 shouldn't even be a option

it is very time consuming, and the time trying to get sp at lower lvls isnt worth it, because most of the sp you need is in the high lvls. Better to farm much later since sp gain at lower lvls isnt as great or effective and drops are worse.
Even if you get the farmed sp for any cap, it is much easier to say that you can just farm/open gap to get the need sp

imo, id say go for option B because it gives better drops and you won't have the boringness of powerfarming at the same place (unless you like the fast sp gain xD)

Go euro, get to 80 with 1 class, finish it at 80 and possibly get a subclass you like. Thats what I'd do anyway.

B.

B: is the only real option as A requires either a second PC or a no-dc multiclient.

I do have two PC's and it's kind of a pain as the second one is not real close, so lvling my own char is tough...

:S i think I'll go with option B so I can rush to the cap with other player and get money, since I'll spend shit load of time at lvl cap sp farming I would probably end with shit load of money and godly pimped gear, like I kinda did on alps (well not godly but 1.5 bill of gears value is kinda nice imo)

only problem would be keeping my 9 gap for months ahah XD

go B with the coming update that sounds like a healthy plan just dont get a sub and try to focus on 1 weapon only.

wich weapon in euro party for fast lvling? 2 hand or 1h first? and wich one is good at solo?

2-hand for solo
1-hand for party

if you think you're going to solo more take 2 hand. pts lvl much faster, and with a new server, there is bound to be a lot of pts around your lvl so id say take 1 hand first.
