Ok well i was on the site http://www.gametrailers.com and since new level cap was out i was just promoting the game..hopeing for new players to come join and play on greece, turned into the ultimate flame debate between a few of us, i ended up getting banned till 4th of april for insulting lol.

This is madness...! TBH SRO definitely has the best graphics of any MMORPG I've played. Even Guild Wars isn't better, overall there is definitely some better things.

I dunno though. I've never gotten flames anywhere else I promoted SRO. Most people actually praised it for being a great game, minus all the grinding. I'm sure all those people were just being ignorant(Haven't actually read the thread).

Well, it's true to an extent. I personally don't play Silkroad because it has the best graphics or anything. There are other games I've seen with more realistic environments. =)

But it's a game I've learned to like over time, even with all bugs and issues, it still has a special charm to it that makes me keep playing.

Graphics of Lineage is better, I agree with that.
However Lineage gameplay sucks beyond belief.
It lacks- (Lineage)
Assortment of classes and races
Different moves (Some different classes have the same move but the colors are changed around to make it look different)
And a map that isnt big enough.
Lvling is way too easy.

you can't really compare silkroad's graphics to lineage as lineage is going for a more realistic (nerdy for this type of game) look and silkroad has a more colorful almost anime-like art style to it

I dont play Silkroad anyone, but i do like to keep up with the updates, there is also an interesting Off Topic part of this site.

And your flaming got you banned from that forum i see, you deserved it.

Also if you cant except my comment, why post on a forum anyway? That IS what a forum is about, listening to what others have to say, good or bad.

I lol'ed at that L2 guy all those pics are just taken from theyr website THEN its allways nice GFX BUT if you go ingame and play it s SHITE! So yea SRO GFX powns all

L2 and granado espada destroy sro graphics.
I've played sro on the highest settings with dx10 compatible vid card on an HDTV, not that any of that matters its still not as great as other MMOs.

look at the noob gaming pcs that people use to play sro.
Check out all the crap ksro screenshots ppl post, the pixelated wannabe graphics displayed in the jangan cave.. I'm sure you can get better graphics coming out of a palm pilot. less than 5% of the people out there play SRO on high settings, the game wasnt meant for high settings anyway its clearly evident based on the fact that it even lags Alienware and Voodoo pc's. (its disgusting)

and yea, they didnt even start on the botting aspect of sro.
This game is much better than other MMOs, but its definitely not up there in the top tier.

There is no way in hell Silkroad graphics can compare to L2. L2 hands down beats sro. Its ridiculous to even contest that statement.

There is a reason why SRO is pure bot fest and f2p.

And bloom is excellent when implemented correctly. Look at L2 and TF2 (FPS game, I know).
- But silkroad completely butchers it.

And Silkroad uses one of the most dated and piece of garbage engine. For a game with such inferior and crappy graphics, its a huge resource hog.

Play Crysis on the latest computer, stunning graphics, beautiful, mind blowing.

Play Silkroad, bloom in your face make you cry and blind. And ooops, freeze computer, crash, sry your drivers need to be updated (Silkroad Official Forums moderated by dumbasses).

Sorry, Silkroad Graphics = Crap. Resource Hog. Crash your computer. Horrible Engine, Horrible Programming.

Wow... I had never seen Lineage 2 graphics until I went into that thread. That is Farking amazing. That shit blows every other game I've played out of the water, except for maybe Oblivion at highest.

lol oblivion isn't an MMORPG GAME! but I found a better graphic than oblivion... that crisis game if it's the correct title... the FPS with cloaking thingy american specialist and korean army.. hope you know what I mean lol...

OT: oblivion was fun game to play... I used to play it everyday and RP lol. Wish there were more functions though..

Silkroad is not the game with best graphics out there, I rekon it has the best physics engine though.

SRO gameplay is quite addicting... I like the pvp they got in SRO over WoW. I have yet to try L2 pvp since that game practically uber grind fest compare to SRO.
