If it is true Deacon got a 1 week ban for using no-DC then you want us to buy premiums im pretty sure. You all support joymax? Im not paying 15-29 dollars a MONTH to play this game. This game is not worth that.

@Off topic. Why do people not like those who use No-DC? Is it because you dont use it that you just for some reason hate me for using a no-dc? Is it because you buy a premium and i don't?

@Off topic #2. All Media.pk2 edits should be takin off this board. It is 3rd party software used to edit this game. You probably will say "pk2 edits dont harm the game". But then i can say "No-DC doesnt harm the game."

Let me break this down for you.

A: Yeah Deacon got a 7 day temp-ban for being guilty of using a No-Dc client.

B: People, aka SRF have certain rules for this board. Stay legit without using any 3rd party software which would include any game enhancing software like No-Dc client and a iSROBOT.

C: Sorry but pk2 does not use any illegal 3rdp arty software. Notepad is illegal ? Since when ? Pk2 Edits DON'T harm the game. Unless of course you use the stealth/invis edit which would. But as proven with Fudge you will get temp banned for using it too.

I dont understand how you're not legit if you use no-dc, its just to login -_-

I thinks it's because it gives him an advantage over others here that don't use it. Not that big of a deal though cause he will be back All I do when I can't login is well, something else?

I think it has to do with interfering with the client so u get no dc.

#1 You are not a mod, and you therefor have no business re-designing the rules, not complaining about them. Leave if ur this annoyed.

#2 NO-DC is considered an exploit. And if you want to know why? you obviously dont have the slightest idea what it is, so look it up.

That's weird you interfere with pk2 you change the game client side. No DC just doesn't let the client DC?

pfft. I got a 7 day ban cuz i pk2 edited the invis/stealth out myself using the tools in the guides and tutorials section in these forums.

I didnt even notice until like day 4 or 5 though, i dont check much since ive stopped playing sro and rechanging the media pk2 after each client patch got annoying so i stopped.
whatever srf decides to support is fair enough, except for their takes in the botters section cuz its got way too much leniency on some sides.
If you don't wanna pay 20 bucks a month for a premium, or if u don't have the patience for logging in then ur playin the wrong game. go play WoW or perfect world or tabula rasa or w/e its called, theyre all much better games and cost less.

Well, because certain people like the specific game enough. Life as it already is, is problematic, but people take great lengths to fix things they can or cannot fix.

To correct any confusion, this isn't comparing life to a video game, it's comparing the similarities of life to a video game for better understanding.

Yes Deacon has - as any other user - been banned for 7 days because of the usage of a no-dc client. SRF is in no way affiliated with Joymax nor do we care if users buy premium tickets or not, that is a case between Joymax and the customer.
If the game isn't worth paying 15-29 dollars a month then either don't buy silk or quit the game. It's that easy.

Then the part about PK2 editing. We allow PK2 editing because it only modifies the client side. Only the editer will see the changes made. There is (with exception of the invisibility / stealth exploit) no advantage for PK2 editors.

No-DC clients however, do give an advantage over users with regular clients. Obviously, No-DC clients won't give a DC when there is server traffic, allowing the user to try to login faster then regular users.
