Screw starting over, I'm gonna continue my warrior rogue on venus.
Just thought I'd inform you.

Also, could I join a guild? You have to realize I'm going to be about as active as a wet sock though, so you should have some spare room

Honestly, is there really a difference in Venus for bots? I logged on and was in Jangan watching the steady stream again...spawn, storage, scroll, pots...unless someone is out there killing them, in which case GOOD JOB.

Anyway, I spent less than an hour on Venus, so obviously it's not a good test. I have noticed that the servers are emptying out more than they used to though.

There are a few differences between Venus and the other servers (excepting Odin and Hera, I assume).

The few high level player bots are whiners. They complain about how the legits are ruining the server because they're so "intolerant."

Legits own the fort and will always own the fort. This discourages the botters, some of whom move to an older server where they can join a bot guild in a union that owns the fort.

There are regular bot traps that can run effectively for hours even by low levels. I do it at 3x and rarely get harassed.

There are a few other anti-bot measure in place or about to be in place that I don't need to discuss here but overall, the situation on Venus is the reverse of other servers.

The player bots are weaker than the legits and on the defensive.

The goldbots end up contributing more to legits (via their gear and taxes) than they do to themselves. I've gotten thousands of pots and plenty of gear and wonderful weapon elixirs.

And I'm not even mentioning how helpful and supporting the legit community is amongst themselves.

It's a good idea that has been tossed around here before. Like something that should be in item mall. Except your limited to only changing in the old servers(ones without "NEW" in their name). I would like to do that cause ALps is always crowded first in the evening

If they put that in the item mall, that would be my very first ever silk purchase.

Oh, I'm on there already, have a 1x char but haven't found time (or wasn't able to login) to play. My main focus has to be my Olympus character. With the bot ban, Venus became more accessible, so I thought I'd check it out the other night, which is where I saw the stream of bots in Jangan. My thought now is - I saw a bot trap forcing bots to respawn in town, in which case I like to see the stream

Also, there isn't that big of a difference in bots. There aren't as many player bots or gold bots because legit players take up room and the gold business isn't as frugal. It's a difference, not that amazing though.

The best part is the community.

I think I'll join SD... I'll play a bit every week. Sometimes more than others.

We have news from Venus now.

We got an ongoing trend to go purple on botters so they kill you and go in murder status.
Then just scroll to town and wait for them to drop their pretty pimped stuff full blue +5, and watch them whining in globals lol. (Goob, you're one hell of a rich biatch now)

Sooner or later, they gonna end up globaling that they want to sell their accounts, like some of them already did that, *coughLostSoulcough* and start over again on Hera.
