Like one of my guildies say he can run 2 clients of SRO in his laptop.
He said something like having to make two users on your laptop.(like when you start your pc or whatever you get to choose which ever user to go on)
So yeah, once i have made two users, what do i do next?
do i start the client in user #1, go in game & go afk, then go to user #2 in cpu and start that client and go in game to see my char in user #1?
If someone could explain and all, please i would prefer it, and maybe this'll be a chance to get something stickied

yeah he also said something about having at least 2gb ram or something(needs sufficient memory)

Um....maybe he's just using this to stall o_O
Anyways...probably has something to do with dual booting?
I don't, but it has been mentioned before...besides..I'd rather stall and go play bioshock on the comp

I don't get it 0.o
how can he bot if he is just using this to plvl his character.
Since its just a way to use 2 clients in 1 cpu.

Hes probably lieing to you, and using a multi client which lets u have more then one client open at one time, but this forum doesnt allow ANY 3rd party software.

i tried doing it using a 2nd user, but every time i go to switch users after opening sro windows gives me the memory dump error, but it works fine without sro on to switch usesrs.

You'll get a C10 error, meaning you're trying to connect with the same computer.
It's impossible to multiclient without a 3rd party program. Even though VMware is some kind of 3rd party program, you need a NASA computer to be able to run a second windows with a second silkroad

This forum does allow SOME 3rd party programs; like that one where it watches your exp/sp/hp/etc. for the day and tallies it up. I forgot what it was, but it's posted on here some where.

You have 2 users on your computer;Mr. A and Mr. B.
You log onto it with Mr.A and start playing silkroad.
After that, you switch to Mr. B's account and play silkroad too.(Keep Mr.A logged on)
Then you have 2 sro's running.

It dosnt work after sro loads but it does its initial work which is to check if the SRO client is already running if it finds silkroad in the process list it wont allow another one to load.

if it's true that we have gameguard running and doing that kind of work, then how the hell do we have lots of people using multi-client to run as much as 34 sro clients at the same time??????

We have a gameguard icon not the program just the simple icon...
But its not hard to run 2 sro clients (even tho i havnt tried cus never felt it was needed)
You just get VMware or anyother program to similate a 2nd OS on your current running OS on which you can run another sro client.
But ye you need a quite good computer but not as super as most ppl think cause if you window-mode sro with low graphics and put priority on low it doesnt take much of your comp.
