Since there are so many gold bots out there, why doesn't iSRO sell gold for silk? Wouldn't they make more money? It would put gold botters out of business

Grind on green mobs if you want gold, that'll stop people from buying gold. I always see people grind on high lvl white/orange mobs.

coz it would mess up the economy even more.
idd even rather have the noob goldbots around then soon be paying like 500m for a lvl 64 sos bow lol.
also, if jm will start selling gold, goldcompany's will just sell it cheaper probs

doesnt really matter to much if you ask me, i dont even pick up the gold and have enough of it, golddrops from mons will never make you really rich

Well I don't know I get more items grinding like this and more elixirs to make items sell better for more. Try it, it works. Set aside money for Alchemy to + items and blue them up to sell. All weapons 32+ with +3 sell for atleast 1 mil each. Easy way to make gold IMO.
I'd think players that grind on orange mobs use more pots and spend more on buying pots and trying to buy the best gear when they don't need to rush that bad.

gold would get cheaper, causing even legits to buy gold so they can buy silk.

Only way I see this plan working is if Joymax sells gold for lets say .... 2 months, then sees how many REAL players actually play on tyhe servers. After that, they lower the server cap accordingly. Example, if theres 1000 max real players on a sunday in Venus, they lower the cap to 1250 to not allow goldbots in. Then they stop gold selling.

Joymax doesn't have enough workers to do this.

It would work but then people will just purchase gold from joymax and buy all the sosun, it like be unfair gameplay like it is now.
Shit they might aswell sell sosun in that case.
Maybe they should just ban bots over and over everyday for a few weeks/months till they give up

I was thinking the economy would probably have the currency be Stones and SOS items as the currency

this will be even more worser

. this way the silk buyers will get the sosun and all that nice stuff, while non silk buyers will be left in the dust. and the gold bots will just lower their prices.
ThisIsAvalon:i like ur idea but if u think about JM's past, u wont think this is possible

because after joymax puts up gold for sale, the gold bot companies will do it even cheaper, and it will be a race until all the gold bot company dies, but by then silk buying players will have a shit load of gold, and non silk buying players will have no gold, and item prices will inflate even more and basically, you have ppl spending 150m for a +5 weapon, and whats worse is that the non silk buyers cant buy shit.
not that non-silk buyers should be given sympathy because this game is f2p after all

But, what if they banned bots daily, used an excellent working game guard...etc to make room for real people who may buy gold for silk?

Then gold wouldn't be needed to be sold, and the economy will be normal.

It's supposed to be a GAME, if they sell gold for silk, it won't be a game anymore, just who is richest IRL -_-
The silk buyers will get filthy rich and the non-silk people or people who dont spend a lot of silk will suck
This happened before when item mall was released and they could sell item mall stuff in stalls for a week, a guy in Aege made 2.5bil orso in a week selling GT's and monkeys

I remember that week when I started, then after my friends and I hit 20ish they patched it. We were all going to help each other buy silk items lol!

Silk for gold more like!
That way, buy 500 silk and you can purchase from a list of gold ammounts. maybe 500 silk buys you.....500m gold ingame. That way joymax still get money....and gold bots are out of business cus we can buy official game gold.
Though this doesnt fix economy....it likely ruins it even more! As this would meen gold buying is basically classed as legit...lol

Atleast gold still had it's value in this game, back when I played diablo 2 the ingame gold was worth absolutely nothing and it was just itemtrading
