When the First premium was realsed they had a major bot ban right before... and it became very difficult to login unless you bought a premium... Now they have another major bot ban and they release another premium.. Anyone else see this is? Joymax is just trying to get as much money from us while they can...

Yep.
They know that after banning bots, ppl will buy less PT because of less traffic. But they made new items, for rich greedy players who wants to be stronger, to buy. Normally, players wont buy new avatar and will keep complaining to not support them until they ban bots.
In the end, they dont lose money, gain back some reputations, calling some players back (to buy silk).

The next bot ban would be the next 90 cap or new items released.

it just pisses me off that everyone falls for this trick...They ban bots..and its easy to connect for 5-6 days..so everyone plays , has fun and gets more addicted to the game.. then it becomes more difficult to login..and what does Joymax do?? makes Premium so you can log in..and of course you buy it because your addicted to the game.. its not because of the stats the premium offers..your just sick of trying to login in.. Its ok , when the first premium came out i was stupid enough and bought one aswell.. but now i see ..and will never buy silk for such poor ass customer server.

(This is just an opinion, not something Im really considering doing, just saying.)

So. Its apparent that Joymax will NEVER ban player bots who buy silk. So, why should I spend 10+ hours of my day playing this game, when I could be just running a bot program and get 80 in a few months? You'd get the same end result, only you would have much MUCH more time to do other things. It almost seems like being legit isn't worth it anymore.

I look at all the 80 players on my server... You go to Taklamakan, all you see are player bots (and a lot of people with sun weapons bot too!) Ugh, dont get me started on powerbotting...

This game is just going down the hill. It's not going anywhere -_-.

That would be why you see the same player bots running around. They decided to see what bots will spend 290 silk a month to play so they know which ones not to ban.

The gold bots got banned because they were stealing JM's money. The clientless ones run by a single person or company.

Personal gold bots are still prolly here.

Actually if us legits quit playing the game then no one would buy gold and then there wont be any gold bots. Then player bots will get bored cause they cant sell sh1t or be strongest player cause everyone will have suns gear. Then JM will some out of the closet and admit to being the ones that crated the first bots. Then they wont sell anymore silk cause no one plays anymore so servers are easy all the time, then they have to get rid of some servers cause they dont have enough funds. Then they get depressed and jump out the window of their 100 story building

Okay I mean "not bots" that buy gold.(i don't consider a gold buyer legit exactly) But why would a bot need to buy gold? They are bots that get it so easy. Prolly a 10 year old with his moms credit card but not anyone smart.


But if there was only botters not really anyone would buy gold. If they do they are retarded cause they dont play anyway

They buy gold not because legit exist. They buy gold because they want to have a full blue pimped gear because they want to compete with other botters

Why would they need to buy gold if they got suns and a lot of gold anyway? A botter is gonna be a lot richer than a legit so I dun see why they would need to buy gold. on the contrary, joymax is very good at business, they managed to make a pretty game to trap a bunch of 13 year olds and make them addicted to buying silk to play the game that is flooded with easily-replaceable goldbots, then they ban those goldbots to appease the community just enough to keep them hooked to buy more silk, meanwhile the player bots just buy enough silk every month not to get banned, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if joymax ownes a goldselling company themselves, you are all too nieve to see that there are much better games with MUCH less of a grind for FREE something SRO CLAIMS to be, but then again, look who I'm talking to, have fun with your shitty "awesome" game with great graphics, I'll be playing one 10x better

umm Did you miss the point? Jowmax is a crap company and a lot ppl here agree. Silkroad however is a good game. The point being that gold buyers and gold bots are some of the biggest things wrong with it. If JM tried a little harder to ban bots and did so a lot more, then they would get props. I do acknowledge that they banned a lot of bots recently and thank em for that, but how hard is it for a 10 year old to spot a bot? And to notice that a lot of bots came back. And about JM owning a gold selling company, I believe there was already a thread on it lol.

Any way looky here at this thread. If you can't spot a bot in the vid, you are pretty doped up the JM dumsh1t drug.

assume that this game had perfect customer support (lol), no bots, no gold buyers, and a good economy, the game would still be bad, you have one of the most outrageous grinds of any game I've ever seen, the quests consist of, and are mostly limited to: kill 900 of these, or collect 2000 of these, the PvP is a joke, potwar much? pvp is extremely gear dependent, the fortress war is stupid, its a good idea in theory, but being able to have 1 person fully heal a wall that has been beaten on by 50 people in under 30 seconds, and after that, the triangular conflict system was broken when they released instant res scrolls, and reverse return.

its all part of there evil master plan!

ban bots to reduce server traffic, then make a new premium that no one will buy cuz they can log in 1st try! mwahaha how evil is that!!!

Having a 5-hour premium ticket ENCROUAGES botting which supports my long-held belief that JM works with the bot-companies. No one will bot for 5 hours a day. Hell, even playing for 5 hours a day can be nuts. 3hours of grinding for PT is enough, now imagine almost doubling that! If you don't you're wasting your money. All this will do is encourage more botters. This makes perfect financial sense for JM tho

Nice. Now you get 2 more hours extra to bot per day cutting your time to get to level 80 by about 33%.

I smell a new update soon. Bot to get to 80. Then bot to 90. If my prediction is right, 90 cap should be released sometime between April - July if there are no delays.

So instead of paying $30 a month for this poorly serviced game, you'll be paying $40. Boy you guys sure know how to invest!

Another reason why they release new items after the bot ban is to make up the revenue lost from banning some of them.
